From what I've heard there have been talks about a Horimiya anime for a while but due to some legal issues and stuff things are looking rough. If we do get a full fledged anime then it will be in the manga's art work style and if I have heard right the original creator of the webcomic is apparently being difficult to work with in regards to an anime series being made. So if I had to make a guess we will probably get a Horimiya anime in the future maybe 2021 or 2022ish but that depends on how the situation is handled

I would like for it to happen, though I don't think so. Don't get me wrong, Horimiya is entertaining to read, but there're other manga and light novels (and webtoons now) that might appeal more if they get an anime adaptation.

But we live in the era that Bleach is getting it's final arc animated (I was waiting for that) so I guess there's hope for everything to get animated right now xD

Holy hell I never thought it would happen, SO happy about this. I don't really read much manga, but Horimiya was my first ever and it was definitely a very enjoyable read even though I only got up to about chapter 46. Hopefully, CloverWorks does it justice!
