| I loved this episode, really cemented the show as excellent to me, so far at least. The characters are so human and relateable, each with their own quirks and the like, it's great. I'm even starting to like characters I didn't like previously, i.e Kanuka and Oota, which is pretty rewarding. I was pleasantly surprised when it looked like the monster was indeed a monster. |

| The explanation provided was rather brief but at least it wasn't as ridiculous as Yamazaki kaiju in OVA episode 3. |
