What do you do when you know someone has been guilty of plagerism in the past? What do you do when they are guilty of self plagerism in their new work? The case in point is, Cassandra Claire. Do you give her the benifit of the doubt, and as a teacher or librarian, allow her work into the school library, or do you select not to have it in the collection, as you don't want to give the students the idea that plagerism is a good thing, and one gets good reception.

Here are the sorces...

Carefully read them.

Usually with the issue of Selection Instead of Censorship, it has been a matter of what is in the books, or because the author is Madonna, and not that good of a role model. But this kind of role model is one that perhaps goes beyond choosing because the author has used steroids, or they cursed out a ref. This deals with actual writing and publication of works. Yes, the work she plagerized in was fanfiction, but does that mean anything?
