| For months, I've been wanting to add Eva 3.33 to my collection. MONTHS. I've looked on all kinds of sites talking about when it'll be released, and none of them have a clear answer. I read an article about the cause of the delay, which can be read here: http://www.funimation.com/blog/2013/12/18/important-information-about-your-evangelion-3-33-you-can-not-redo-order/ From the looks of it, it will be released before this year is over, but does anyone have a clue when exactly? I'm getting anxious. I know people said it was terrible compared to the previous 2 rebuilds, but I still want to see it. EDIT: The article is over 6 months old, but there aren't any other articles that say anything this article doesn't. |

| There is pretty fresh rumor floating around on the internet: Eva's director Hideaki Anno and his studio wanted 3.0's English dub crew re-dub the film because the tone of their voice acting wasn't as ambiguous as in the original Japanese version. (The ambiguity is pretty important part of the film) This (and probably some other things) is probably the reason why the release of BD is taking so long. Most people say that it's terrible only because they couldn't understand the film. I'd say that within 10 years people will see this film as a classic.
