it was weird but then again i love weird stuff^^ definitely kept me entertained but also annoyed me at some points...not sure yet if i'm gonna luv this show or will it start to annoy me too much after few eps..but now i kinda want to see the next ep^^
Haylias said: Honestly, to me, it came across as trying a bit to hard to be different. That is just my opinion though.
I feel the same. Like it was trying to be random for the sake of being, well... random. I predict lots of lame analysis trying to make this seem deep. Oh well, it's just the first episode. But I can't say I really... enjoyed it.
Fabulous. The most intriguing anime of this fall so far... @_@
I really really really like the style. Seriously, just amazingly expressed well. Though, I'm not too sure about story. Weird, Colourful. That nurse is... (lol) half animated half real isn't it?... I've never ever seen that kind of thing before...
OP is... eh it's ringing me for like... 2 days around my ears... xD
I'm, definitely watching it. Hell, it is probably the only interesting thing I want to watch this fall. (but still waiting for SZS OVA <3)
ODD, VERY ODD. xD
The whole time, I was wondering "This voice is so familiar" and around at the time Yamashita gets to Irabu-sensei's room, I was so sure. "It's Morimori!" and I had to laugh. xD
Also...this is gonna be moar hilarious since they use the faces of their voice actors. xD
First was Morimori, so next episode is Kusuriuri's voice actor, Sakurai-san! xD
I can't wait.
This series is ODD in a good way and it made me smile and laugh heartily the whole time I watched it. x'3 hehe
I feel like I just watched an animated version of Dr. Phil. I'll watch the next ep, since one of the majors I was considering was Psychology, but most of the stuff in this ep I already learned way back in high school.
That was the best first episode that I watched since Kaiba--but I hope this one won't go downhill like Kaiba did in the second half of the series.
As for the quirky art style and bizarre directing, I didn't expect any less from the team behind Mononoke. Even if the viewer tuned out all the dialogues and plot details, the creative use of animation and real-life imagery makes watching this an utter enjoyment in itself.
Seems like a pretty decent anime, so far. Injections give me the creeps, so I was sort of freaking out in those scenes.
Looks like it's going to be taking the Ghost Hound approach of throwing out random psychology/psychiatry trivia every episode. Insomnia/Generalized Anxiety Disorder/Placebo Effect are all pretty basic concepts. Hopefully they dive a little deeper in the later episodes.
Not sure what the 3 different versions of the psychiatrist are supposed to represent. Animal head mode, normal (ish) mode, and child mode - wonder if there's any reasoning to that. The main character also seems to have an animal head mode.
What the hell did I watched? And why I liked this one even I was bored as hell? Anyway, I think I will drop this series because I didn't enjoy it for some reason. Hopefully, I will probably watch it again after gg group releases the final episode.
