Not a bad episode, i know it took him long enough to summon those two sages. I'm trying to remember if it really took that long in the manga. Yeh the new opening is sweet.  |

It was a nice episode. Not the longest or most actiony battle but it was well animated (I could see by the effects who animated it) although the next episode is craply animated. The scene where Jiraiya does his rasengan (A huge one I must say) and the smoke was just terrible > : so I guess we gotta wait a while till the next one. Awesome stuff though =D |

Finally a good episode without shitty art. The animation on this episode looks like the episode where Naruto and Sasuke. And judging from the opening, there won't be a filler anytime soon.  |

Very well done, the animators took a lot of liberties with how the manga went but it was excellent in the end  |

Very good episode. I'm a little disappointed that they decided to do a flashback with the prophecy, but I almost feel like it's a set up to show that Jiraiya has misinterpreted it a little. He's trained both: the one to bring peace and destruction, and he is choosing to side against Pain, and with Naruto. |

I had to check back in the manga to see if the dogs really appeared in the manga since I didn't remember them, but they did, which made me impressed that they're really being true to the original. Good OP. It definitely gives hints as to what is gonna happen. Can't wait for next week! (did I seriously just say that for Shippuuden?! What is the world coming to? :P)  |

Wow! Lol! My respect for the naruto anime is not deep below the ground anymore ... Why can't every episode of Naruto be so damn awesome and full of win? - cool fights - cool effects, it was nicely animated - story wasn't stale or monoton and kept up the good parts coming - not even the flash back was that much of a deal, this time at least it was necessary - Naruto, the retarded character of this show, wasn't in this episode which made it much better - there was nothing related to naruto in this, since this scene would have happened even without naruto's existence It simply felt like i was watching a good anime and not Naruto! I hope they keep this up to get the show back on its feet!  |
