Date A Live: What do YOU think the title means?

"Date A Live" appears to be a direct transliteration of "デート・ア・ライブ".

But still, the grammar nags at me, what do you think the author was attempting to convey?

"Date to Live" / "Date in order to have a Life" ?
"Live Dating" / "Dating Live Show" ?
"Date someone who is living" ?
