I'm 24 years old. I don't have a job right now. I don't go to school either. I plan on going back to school in this September to finish my degree in Psychology. My degree in psychology will be finished in another year at most. Once I'm done my degree in psychology, I plan on getting a job in teaching. But in order to do that, I need to first go to teacher's college for another 2 years. So by the time I'm 27 or 28, I would be a teacher. Does that sound like a good plan? I'm not going to be a basement dweller forever. I'm going to eventually leave my parent's house and live on my own. |

I can't speak for everyone, but I'm pretty sure most people know what a basement dweller is. Most of us otakus/anime fans have been called one I would imagine. And as far as what you should do in your situation, I would just look for a good high paying job that can support yourself, if not I would try and go back into school if you can afford it. |

| It depends how long the gap is in your employment history. The fact that you return to school to finish a degree makes it seem worse. Based on personal observations I've seen with uni students I could rant about them all day, but it depends on your work experience and what position you'll apply for. |
