| I was looking for something lighthearted where there is maybe already a relationship in it but isn't the main focus. Something Kind of like bakuman had. Im not really to picky on the subject. |
| Nodame Cantabile - mains have other things on their plates like becoming professional musicians Cross Game - mostly about life and baseball, but the mains have a relationship throughout Chihayafuru - Might have more drama than you'd like, but the story focuses on karuta; whatever romantic tensions might exist Saiunkoku Monogatari - There is a main couple, but the woman has her eyes on becoming her country's first female public official. Romance is secondary. Again perhaps more drama than you'd like. Oh! Edo Rocket - I'm not even sure there is a romance between the mains at times, but it's a ongoing theme in a story that mainly satirizes political and cultural repression. Baccano! - There are a number of couples, some old, some new, but their relationships are secondary. |
