Anyone out there try to follow the VAs as they dive into live-action roles and bit parts? Or if they land a major television or film role, do you go out of your way to rent/watch that?

Sometimes I stay through the credits for an animated film and see if I recognize any of the ADR regulars from LA, like Kari Wahlgren, but other times it's fun to dig up an old episode and look for the actual VA in something.

I know Damien Clarke, voice of Scar (FMA), was the lead in How to Be a Serial Killer, which I find hilarious. Never got around to watching it, though. Watching it just for one VA isn't much of a motivating reason to me.

At least he's got the whole movie for that one. A lot of VA's are only on enough for a Youtube clip.

Travis Willingham played Nathan Hale in the Project Abraham documentary that was bundled with Resistance 2...he barely looks anything like the in-game character, but his performance was fine otherwise.

I also came across his film reel, though it's really outdated by now...

Apparently the VA I've worked with was in Without Evidence once upon a time. Two degrees of separation from Angelina Jolie. :P

Jason Douglas was also in Breaking Bad and Brina Palencia was in The Walking Dead. Cherami Leigh was in some movie with Shane Dawson

Also I swear to God I saw Cassandra Lee Morris in 50/50 for about 1 second

A while ago, I was watching some random CSI-like drama episode and the name Hedy Burress showed up, and I'm like whoa..that's the voice of Yuna! Later found out she was recurring in Boston Common.

I guess the LA voice actors are kinda spoiled now with all those web series like Critical Role, although there they're just being mostly themselves or "acting in character".

On the flip side, Teryl Rothery is known a lot more for her Lifetime Movie appearances but she'll always be remembered for voicing in Ranma 1/2 and Dragon Ball ages ago.
