I'm frankly surprised that I cannot find the name of this fruit on the internet no matter how hard I look. I am very sorry to ask this strange question here, but must resort to MAL because of what I previously said.

Description: Small(size of apple) fruit, extremely bitter, looks like a miniature watermelon, and has seeds in the middle.

Again, im sorry if it's too weird to ask here, but I have tried everywhere else and cannot find anything close to it.

Guava is probably the fruit you're looking for. People in South America use it as a diuretic.

You are right that it acts sort of like laxative or diuretic, but I have checked every fruit in this thread, and unfortunately none are what im looking for.

For a little more description,
The fruit is white on the inside, and very dry. I'm not entirely sure, but I assume it grows in very hot places/desert type climates. I live in California so try to imagine that type of climate, the fruit also grows in the ground in large numbers. Apparently you also do not have to peel the fruit to eat it.

Hope this helped at least a little, and I hope to be able to find out what this fruit is.

EDIT: To say the truth, im not even sure if the fruit is meant to be eaten at all, and for all I know it could be potentially poisonous(although me taking a bite out of it and swallowing it has yet to kill me, but it definitely did have some side effects). Once again, I hope this helps.
