| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Ah cool, Eijun uses his brains a bit in this grudge match. Phew it was close too...and I give the kid a slap in the back for his skills this time. At this rate, I think he can learn from his mistakes even if he lost this time. I wouldn't even feel bad. Might expect some anime original bits along the way though. Also, grats to Takuma. Well deserved win :D |

| That was really good. Loved how the match with Araya ended. Lol'd at how Takuma was pissed about Maruo making Araya even stronger XD Nacchan cheering Eichiro up was cute :3 and I smell jelly from when she said Sou-chan XD The Takuma vs Araya match had some awesome animation :O Loved the end when he asked his parents about going pro. This series is so good :D |

| Eichiro was so close to winning he did really well but in the end Araya won. Takuma was dominating Araya in the final match and won and Araya took back what he said before the match started about him giving up going pro if he looses. Eichiro is considering going pro at the end there. |

| Wow, after the lack of good quality animation from some of the previous matches(or continuously recycled animation) this match was a breath of fresh air. Animation was really top notch, very noticeable difference. Great episode! :D |

| It is the first season, maybe if its popular enough the budget for future seasons could be bigger ? I still think its really good for a tennis anime. The animation in the Araya-Takuma match was really good too, it felt really realistic. Maruo was playing so well near the end... He became stronger and made Araya stronger haha. |

| Good episode once again. Its a shame this is only going to be 25 episodes long. It won't get into what in my opinion are some of the best parts of the manga. I hope for a Season 2 in the future (though I feel that it's unlikely). |
| Wow, surprisingly the Araya-Takuma match has some pretty great animation. Looks realistic. And I wonder what will Eichan's parents will say about his going pro question. And did Hosoya, Yoshimasa really voiced Ike? Doesn't sound like him though. |
| Poor Ei-chan T.T , but at least he got the girls XD. So why can't they animate all of the games like the Takuma vs Araya one lol? That Ike guy seemed funny. Damn, that guy's the same age as Ei-chan and going pro... lol. Natsu called him Sou-chan, SACRE BLEU! Ah, so Ei-chan couldn't register for the Junior Tournament, that's sad. YES, go pro Ei-chan and defeat Nadal/Federer/Djokovic etc lol. |

| I wish Ei-Chan would have won. But it was still a great match! Ei- chan definitely surprised his parents there. But they should have seen it coming I mean he's been so passionate about tennis for a year now. |

| That match was intense. I like how Nat-Chan patted Ei-Chan on the head to cheer him up. I hope they become a couple by the end of the anime. Why can't this be a long running anime? =( |
| Ike's voice is a bit different than I expected. Hopefully we'll see Nabae soon. Worried they won't adapt any more past this first season, which would suck as it gets even better. |

Estimates for the disc sales are rather small, and the increase in manga sales has been minimal. Another season seems extremely unlikely. |
| ^^ Too bad. I think the slow start, the hard working and perfectionist MC, and Pierrot animation are the main reasons that killed the sales. Oh well, manga, here i come. |

| The animation in this episode was great, they really stepped it up. I'm glad Maruo didn't win his match, that made it more realistic. Ike Souji is a cutie. This show is so exciting, it's a shame that it's only going to be 25 episodes... |

| Thought that the match between Eiichiro and Arya ended on good terms. Would be pretty dull if Eiichiro would have won tbh. Wonder what his parents has to say about "hypothetically" becoming pro ;) |
