I need anime similar to Kill la kill. First let me tell you I didn’t really like the uniform power thing but I let it slide because of how much i loved the rest. Can you guys recommend me some more serious fighting/action animes? The plot does NOT have to be similar to Kill la kill but I would like it to be about people fighting each other for some reason or another with special powers. And it would be extra awesome if it was longer so i can watch it longer lol.

EDIT: I DONT LIKE THE ZANY OVER THE TOP PARTS OF KILL LA KILL, I LIKE THE REVENGE DRIVEN BLOOD LUST IN IT AND FIGHTING.

THANKS

Ive seen:
Berserk (Personal Favorite)
Claymore (Personal Favorite)
Gungrave
FMAB
HxH (Personal favorite)
Naruto/Ship
Bleach(Personal Favorite)
One Piece (Personal favorite)
Code Geass
Kill la kill
Gundam (not for me)
Gurren (didn’t really like it)
Cow boy bebop
Samurai champ
Ruroni kenshin
Yu yu hakushu
Fairy tail (Didn’t like)
AoT
Steins Gate
Mirai Nikkai
Trigun
Hellsing Ultimate
Mahou Shoujou madoka
Hitman Reborn (Ewwww, hated it)
SAO
Shinseki yori

Didn’t like the first episode of Deathnote/D Gray man
Anything else I should add to my list?

D. Gray- Man gets better, but it has a slow start. Things begin to pick up around the end of season 2.

You should try Soul Eater.

You've already seen Gurren Lagann (the first thing to come to mind for similar KLK anime) so how about Dead Leaves ( a movie) and FLCL (short but good)

Nakashima Kazuki, the scriptwriter for Kill la Kill, also wrote a stage play for his acting troupe that was adapted into a zany comedy by Madhouse. It's called Oh! Edo Rocket. Since it's set in 1843 Edo, it doesn't bear a surface resemblance to Kill la Kill, but the theme of political repression appears in both works.

Both subs and dubs for this show at Hulu.

Stylistically I'd suggest Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi. The show has many of the same over-the-top features that Kill la Kill displayed like highly distorted characters and a good dose of boing. The first half of the show consists of parodies of various pop culture genres like Final Fantasy games, Hong Kong fighting movies, and noir gangster films. The second half goes into its own rather indescribable dimension. Like KlK it touches on many anime memes with its osananajimi main couple and a guest appearance by Abe no Seimei.
