| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Another episode of sub par animation. Who would of known that Tobirama was the one that set all of the events and rivarly in motion between madara and hashirama. You might wonder if things would of changed, if only madara never eaves dropped on there discussion. Of course he probably would of went down a dark path anyhow because of his sharingen curse. Its kind of interesting how that one conversation changed everything. Next episode is the finale of this little mini back story and we finally get to the conclusion of there final clash and also sasuke's answer. A very critical moment in the story coming up. |

Yeah the pacing is a bit slow, but im pretty sure its so they can pace the next episode more smoothly, instead of rushing things after this back story. It is just the way they are structuring it. One thing that naruto shippuuden is just notorious at is not being able to maintain consistent animation and it kind of sucks when some of these great moments are just blown because the studio decided to half ass it. I mean why can't the studio just keep a good production quality like bleach. |

| It went for 1 and a half chapters, I think ideally the episode would have benefited from a bit more content (think 2 would have been sufficient). In my opinion they should have finished the fight between Hashi and Madara then revealed Sasuke's answer next episode. link9us said: This. | An okay episode. There were many flashbacks and as a result it was slow paced.. The fight was good, with some scenes from one previous episode. The next episodes will be very interesting :D |
| Nice episode. I kinda liked the slow pace of it. Though it is unnecessary to say at this point, the animation is still not to my liking. |

Let's think for a while. Naruto wants to be the strongest Hokage of all time but that's something almost impossible, he actually is way stronger than Hashirama in the manga but if I had to choose the strongest, I would still say that the strongest shinobi is Hashirama, he has much more battle experience than Naruto, even Naruto being stronger Hashirama still surpasses him in an overall basis because his battle experience is way bigger than Naruto's (without mentioning that Naruto is a dumb ass and Hashirama is intelligent.) |

| They used some interesting OST for this episode. It felt kinda slow but did pick up pace at the end there. We'll hear Sasuke's answer next time though. |

| hashirama is a beast also i either missesd it if it was brought up before but i never knew that the other nations were built using konoha as the role model |

| A decent episode with a satisfying climax. Had to re-use quite a few scenes, but it serves a good point. And don't worry guys, we have PLENTY MORE flashbacks to go through until we get to the ending arc, which I hope will be omitted. |

| Flashback continues. After reaching their dream of forming a village, Madara leaves as he foresaw Uchiha clan's destruction. Never liked Tobirama from the start. He's too strongheaded about all Uchiha being evil and falling into darkness at some point later. Even if he's right, that doesn't mean they can't be good as well. Hashirama vs. Madara battles are always amazing. Hashirama is still superior though! Good episode. The flashbacks finally ends. Orochimaru doing the next episode PV was awesome. Sasuke's Answer next week. |

| It was nice to see the previous Kages of all the villages... now that we see them... they are like all geezers... only Hashirama and Kazekage is not too old in their looks. |

| DAMN I love this anime. Good episode, although I had a small gripe with the flashbacks within this flashback especially since we just seen those moments. But even so this episode was amazing. I just love the history in Naruto, it's so intriguing!!!! |

Well look at bleach, it may have straightforward action and awesome battles, but it lacks substance or any kind of depth to its characters because there isn't enough back-story or development. I am sorry but i prefer plot progression and story over action and battles. Masashi Kishimoto at least knows hows how to give depth to his characters and substance to his story. |

| Great episode! I loved the OST's during this episode. I found the pacing to be perfect, I'm enjoying the anime's adaption of the Madara/Hashirama flashback. This was a great episode. Next week's episode will be a huge one! I can't wait for next weeks, it's gonna be huge. |
