| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Oh my, the plot seems to be tightening. Amon's foster father was a massacring ghoul - I can see where his interest to talk with Kaneki goes from. Hide makes a move :) I'm excited how it turns out. And his motivation is to protect "someone". But along the way that "someone" became one that can protect himself well enough for others to be protected from him. Could they become enemies along the way? And Kaneki next chapter (took a peek to the raws), yeah, finally! Hmm, just wondering, did Kaneki quit college? |

| Heh, I knew Hide might play a more important role. I'm curious to see those new ghoul hunters in actual hunting though but despite that, their profiles seems to be interesting so far. |

| I was thinking this part timer will either be a new suspicious character or Hide and turns out it's Hide ^^ Nice to finally see him coming into the picture again and he's the one who gave out the info :O Amon's past is quite dark though. Being brought up by a person he thought of as a father then finding out he was massacring every night O_O |

| I knew the part-timer was hide, glad to see he's back I feel like hide already knows about kaneki being a ghoul, and knew he was being held captive by those ghouls so he did his research and provided the info to the ccg MORE CHAPTERS PLEASE |

| Interesting chapter, I was surprised and happy to see hide, and we were able to know about amon's past. Protecting "someone", I believe he means Kaneki? because i think he knew about him turning into a ghoul. CAN'T WAITE FOR MORE! |

They also showed this in the anime where he's actually awake and listening. |

| Yeah Hide is going to be a badass investigator. I do remember hide being awake when Kaneki talking to Old man about him being a ghoul. Next chapter for Kaneki? FINALLY. This is a timeskip right? So kaneki is hunting with that group who wanted to support him from chapter 79 right? |

| I'm kind of liking where this is going, it's gotten a bit more plot focused recently instead of a series of (pretty cool) battles. I actually thought, for whatever reason, that would be Kaneki sneaking around in the building since he can go by the the "ghoul detectors". But, Hide coming back into focus is pretty interesting. Also, nice glimpse at Amon's past. Explains that scene in the shower and his general attitude about Ghouls. I still think he and Kaneki will end up on the same side when things are all said and done. His storyline is probably one of the most interesting right now for me. Also, anyone mind telling me how the release schedule is? I know the translation is waaaay behind, but is it a release every Wednesday or...? |

| I'm really happy that Hide is back, in the beginning I too thought that the new guy was Kaneki. Also Amon's plot line is getting more and more interesting? Firstly I thought that I won't be liking the chapters with the investigators but it turned out that they are just as interesting as the ghoul ones owo And Kaneki next chapter?? Can't wait to see how he's turned out after the timeskip. |

| Dammit Hide. What a neat way to get back into the story: and it also confirms that he did hear the conversation between Kaneki and Yoshimura way back then. Also very satisfied with how Amon's character's being handled so far: his deep connection with a murderous ghoul in the past perfectly explains how biased and "Javert"-ish his idea of justice is. And of course, can't stop the love for Akira and her tendency to engage in verbal jousting every chance she gets. Good stuff. |

Okay, so Hide knows Kaneki is a ghoul, but that doesn't explain how Hide knew about the Aogori hideout... I, too, thought for a bit it might've been Kaneki sneaking around trying to collect information lmao. Now the question is: are Hide and Kaneki going to become enemies now, or is Hide there to help Kaneki? The revelation about Amon's past was intensely interesting and unexpected but makes perfect sense. |

| No way.. Hide! I was wondering what Amon's flashbacks were about. Didn't expect his father figure to have been a priest though, that must've played a big part in his life and the revelation that took place. |
| Amon might've not acquired much information from the Father, but I now know that he grew up in a Catholic orphanage founded by a Russian ghoul who likes to eat children. That follow Alice comment might be refering to Rabbit and Eyepatch since if they'll focus on the latter, the former's bound to follow. Hide's working part-time for the CCG where he gets along with everyone and he's even the informant who revealed details about the stronghold in the 11th Ward. He's become quite a valuable person for the CCG in a pretty short time but he's on the polar opposition of where Kaneki's sided with as of now which will make things complicated. |
