| I haven't been really ''scared'' by an anime, but I guess the creepiest I have ever watched was Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni. Some other ones I liked too were Mirai Nikki, Another and Hellsing:Ultimate. I think that Umineko no Naku Koro Ni is something like Higurashi too, but I haven't watched it. |

| I'll suggest the "Bake Neko" arc that concludes Ayakashi Samurai Horror Tales. If you like that, there is a twelve-episode sequel called Mononoke. It was just released on DVD in the US for the first time last week. |
