Wow, this got intense fast. I notice the Planetary Gears are really on the move this time with their members.

Hana was pretty badass again. Way to go girl. She does struggle quite a bit this episode though but I'm proud of her.

So 7 villians vs 4 heroes in the entire series... Well pretty much an unfair advantage.

Hana's turn to shine with her Mecha, as always she is pretty OP but a little help with Akari.

Puck continues to deceive the Kiltgangs. I wonder what's his real motive..
> "Puck does not lie" says the machine who has been lying the whole time. Nice!

Setsuna's voice is so lovely! I really wish she didn't awake her designer child persona..

Hana vs. Aiatar was pretty awesome. She really got some nice development this time!
Not sure if it was her plan to make Aiatar absorb her orgone energy from the get go, since that served as the key factor in pinpointing her location and thus defeat her.

Good episode. Looks like we'll finally get some Belly Button Forte again next week. :p . Japanesque Mahou Shoujo Akari, FTW! (^^)

I didn't have much problems with the plot or characters this time, though I did find some things pretty damn silly. Lol

Puck in human body is as creepy as ever and I guess they are building him up to be the main villain of the series? Hmm... Kind of came out of no where but whatever.

They are really banking on not taking the villains seriously though. Ai being her pop idol self was so goofy on stage "One day I will ACTUALLY eat you." lmao.

The outfits they wear are pretty over the top too, even Bugbears. I CANNOT take Setsuna seriously as a mastermind or anything when she looks like a Gothic-Loli-Mary Poppins with that silly hat of hers. Lol.

Once again we get a transformation sequence! They managed to make it even longer than usual too, not that Hana's mech doesn't look cool, it's pretty well designed overall, but geez they really love showing off the transformations don't they?

Battle was kind of meh, Ai looks like a Yugioh Monster and it was basically just *Heres a cannon staying still and shooting at a mecha and the mecha tries to avoid it until it gets an opportunity to strike.* Scenario... Not very action packed.

Was that Salty Dog at the end? Haven't heard from them since whatshisface got hit by the boomerang and was carried away.

I'm feeling that Baku and Siren are having doubts. I think there will be more significance to that later.

I'm loving Puck. He's controlling everyone XD "Puck doesn't lie" indeed hahaha

And for the first time ever. Puck DOES lie. I still love that catchphrase it is catching :P

Woah things are going to get very very intense it seems. The Kiltgangs are going to be more aggressive and on top of it all, Ark Faction is going to act too. Holy shit......

Operation Summer eh? Interesting, so to settle it all once and for all they want to destroy Oberon and with it the Kiltgang bodies putting a definitive end to the threat eh? Looks like a nice final battle, but will it work properly? I mean the Planetary Gears are going to strike more and more.

I like how Setsuna is not behemently obssessed with their main goal but considers circumstances and analyses things well, while being close to her underlings.

Hana was badass, but Aiatar was clearly superior here. That storm worked in Hana's favour, otherwise she would be dead. I like Aiatar's design in every way, she looked sexy in that outfit and as an alien and Kiltgang she had a badass design.

I'm loving this.

Nice episode! We got to see all the Kiltgangs together for the first time. I was wondering where they had been during the last few episodes. It looks like the two who have had the most development might be having doubts, event though Setsuna is their leader...

Hana got to be awesome with her own mecha this time! I never could figure out why they didn't destroy the Ego Blocks before, but apparently they lack the ability to. Plus Salty Dog is coming back into the picture. Hooray...

Crunchy's subs were noticeably lax on this one.

I like the setup for Operation Summer with Hana being hidden, if it goes as planned it could make for a pretty intense finale. A lot can happen in ten days.

Thank goodness, Baku showing more signs of revolting.

Dammit, not Salty Dog..Just focus on Puck's glorious rise.

Puck is seriously getting laid these days. Otherwise, meh. I thought that at least we were over Salty Dog and their unintelligible conversations, but it seems they're making a comeback.

In the comments for the last episode I said "This was a pretty good episode with all of the advancement and the lack of watching Earth Engine Expand (when we get back in space, I hope they cut this >_>)"...

I just had to say that one episode before Flare Engine gets an expanded sequence, I guess it is the first one for Hana but still...

I'm enjoying the faction interplay even if I don't understand all of the rules the series is working with, Puck owns every scene that he gets into surprisingly me by both changing the behaviour of Kube but not also continuing to exist as that guy who never lies even to Amaro and Moco.

Salty Dog's return will add even more spice but I want to see a clearer direction in the next ten weeks, with Bugbear splitting at some point.

Blah, Crunchy subs just blows. I fucking loved this episode, I was semi-yelling "FLARE ENGINE EXPAND-UH" throughout the whole fight with Hana, way too awesome. I really want to see Mahou Shoujo Akari get her own engine, that'll be way too good.

Lol, Puck pulled it off again. Setsuna is so adorable.Desu.
This was a rather weak episode. Can't believe Hana got a higher shooting score than Teppei. He is way better in his Nebula Engine. Either that or Miss Aidoru is really strong.

To sum it all up:

- Daiichi is an idiot.
- Hana is the BEST to offer in the series hands down.
- Props for my predicting the new Engine for Hana, which looks kinda like a Metroid suit by the way.
- Setsuna and Baku aren't as evil as the rest of them.
- Puck is pure EEEEEEEE-VILLLLLLL!
- Salty-Dogs are planning something diabolical, probabyl involves using Hana to create Oregon energy to power their "Noah's Ark" or something like that, meaning they want to kidnap Hana as well.

Seriously, the entire show is all about Hana.

By the way, Hana should have probably died in this episode. They totally did a cop-out with the meteor storm messing with the Kiltgang's visuals (how the heck would that happen anyway, the Kiltgang isn't a machine technically, its like a host body?!?!)

I wonder why it's important to know the gender of the pilot during the expansion sequence. Name..okay, though they should know who's piloting it. Condition..on the unlikely case that something goes wrong during the expansion sequence, okay. But gender? Why would that be of interest?

Not sure if they always showed that, but i only noticed now.

About Puck: Well, he was always portraited as suspicious. A robot that needs to add that he doesn't lie to every conversation? Didn't catch him acutally lying before, but that thing about sublimal messages? That was all but sublimal what he did there.

And it does look like he wants to play out both the human factions and planetary gear. Wonder what his goal is. Just to have a body? Taking over Earth? The "game" itself? Or maybe there is someone behind Puck who actually does control him, unlike Kube.

Amarok and Malkin where suspicious about Kube missing (why would Puck even have Kube missing? Does he need time to transfer everytime or something, so Kube missing would be less suspcious than Puck not reacting?), but not sure if they are gonna act upon it - e.g. investigating more regarding Kube etc.

And Hana did have luts of luck with that storm, but given that she should have been able to predict Aiatars attack trapping her, aswell as that barrier..i think that equals out.

I think we may see more than them switch sides in the end. Even Amera and Moco are starting to get a bit suspicious of Puck, and obviously Puck has a plan which intends to use both the planetary gears and humans for some sinister AI purpose.

The plot is even more interesting, they had concocted something more exciting from the beginning, would be a whole other thing this TV series.
Narrative that manages to be engaging, even if the fights are not the strong point of this anime, as are always fast and who knows why always see the protagonists as newbies, as well as having the robot opponents very little versatile; oh well!
In truth I thought was that Akari to command the new robot, I was wrong.
Drawings and excellent animations, on this point the study Bones worked in an almost flawless.
Also very good soundtrack.

P.S. I share some points of the speech Keten.
