I've been frustrated that Eclipse doesn't have this episode up yet (last week it went up Sunday night!), but from what I've read here, it doesn't seem like I'm missing much. I guess that would make two bad episodes for "Brotherhood" (this and the first one with the 'Freezing Alchemist').

And I'm not looking forward to a new OP - I loved the first one, and thought the second was "meh." IMO, "Again" should be the OP and "Let it All Out" the ED for the entire series. Both are perfect.

i dont see reason for bitching and complaining so much, when this is so great series overall, sure ep of a recap spoiled a bit all the smooth run so far, but srsly its no such big deal, afterall it wasnt only recap just like that, there was a thought in it + there was unseen stuff from past either, i only dont understand how did all the flashback stuff could happen in hoenheims dream when he didnt experienced all that himself and two hoenheims? well i want to say that maybe there was more in this ep to think about than just a simple flashback? =/
did this happen in manga btw?

im going to disagree with everyone else and say that i luv the new OP and its waaaay better then the last one~ (first one beats all the others by far tho) and i think, for a recap ep, this wuz rly good =D
pple need to lighten up a little cuz we all knew it wuz gonna be a recap so if we didnt want to see it we wouldnt have to >.>

Ishvar backstory in cap 30? ive read the manga, but, how do you know that it will be in chap 30? did you calculate it? or is this official info?

Least favorite episode of Brotherhood so far. The visuals on the new OP and ED are well done but I hate the songs, old ones were soo much better.

They're probably doing the karaoke thingy for the new OP and ED, we should be patient xD

Meh recap is probably useful to some people. But not me as I've seen FMA twice and read the manga...

I was kind of glad they did a recap, made me remember some of the story line I had forgotten. Its hard to keep track when you only watch one episode a week and are watching other shows and also have stuff in RL going on.
Also I don't know any of the manga and the OP didn't spoil anything.

okay, so I just finished it.
Really it wasn't that bad.
Although the new opening is spoilerish I think it is very interesting to watch.
Didn't make it though the ending though.
There were some interesting moments in that back telling though.

3/5...I thought the ep was ok. i don't get wut ppl are so mad about.it helps sum ppl to remember wut has happened so far. ok it was a bit confusing and boring got to admit but some weird way i kinda liked it too. and yep the op kinda sucked but it's not like i was a big fan of the previous op either so whatever...^^ and that being said can't wait for the next ep :)

Well I don't like the new opening and ending themes. And I don't really like aired recaps much anyways.

DAMMIT, I was so looking forward to this episode. BOOOOO for recaps.

Biggest question after watching this episode: How the hell did Pinako shrink to less than half her size? Also, did Winry's dad take the Rockbell name? They're referred to as the Rockbells, so I assumed that Pinako is the maiden name. But it's not. That's weird.

Besides that, it's a clever attempt at a recap episode that pretty much butchers context and makes a short stab at the most obvious (and shounen) theme: Humans have endless capabilities as long as they try.

Boring.

Oh, and we went from exceptional J-pop for the opening and endings to run-of-the-mill, more representative of the industry, shitty J-poop. I really hope they don't try to incorporate these songs the way they did Let It Out. They're real mood killers. They really squandered all the momentum from last week.
