I think that the anime ending was also the same as the manga ending, so they actually put all of the material they had in use, so i doubt there will be a season two.

The way they raced through the series with that last episode (and foregoing any and all explanation in the process) just in order to reach some sort of ending, I can't see it happening, or at least not any time soon.

If I were you I would read the manga. From the start.

First of all you should read the manga, because the last two episodes 11 and 12 where changed in the anime maybe to wrap things up and to avoid a 13 episode I dont know. The end is the same but some important things on those episodes where changed.

Also currently the manga is airing almost a chapter per week sometimes they do other times they release two and a time maybe because the translation has fell behind. Start reading from chapter 80 through chapter 101 which is where the anime ends.

Hope it helps

Here is a link to the manga:

I do hope there will be a season 2, or a re-make of the ending at least because I am currently reading the manga and there is a lot of important imformation missed out on the anime.

I really like this anime and which is the reason to make me read the manga. SEASON 2!!!

And what are you talking about ? ... Manga- Original run January 2012 – ongoing

The Manga is still "Original run January 2012 – ongoing " ongoing so i think ,Yes there can be season 2 and i hope they make it ! and why MOST of the peoples here are haters ? if you dont like first few episodes dont watch it . Why do you complete it and make big discussions only to hate something ?

+ most of the anime that i had watched have OVA or some kind of "special" in the "middle" like 6 months after Season 1 come OVA and 6 months after OVA comes Season 2 and something like that and since there is OVA that was released quite soon i think there is pretty good chance of Season 2 :)

I'm just curious, but are the people calling it bad because they're comparing it to the mangaka's other work, Elfen Lied? Not sure because I haven't seen Elfen Lied but I enjoyed Gokukoku no Brynhildr. Not sure if people's opinions are clouded over the fact that Elfen Lied was a "masterpiece" (Quoting others because I haven't seen it)

if you guys really want season 2 , plain & simple:
1- Buy the dvd or the bluray: [Jap release - box 1] || [Jap release - box 2] || [Eng release]
Despite the rushing at the end. I loved it & i got the jap release. next i will get the eng one too.
2- support the manga.

The manga in my opinion is better by a bit. It's still on going, and trust me, it gets WAY more interesting. People say the anime was "shit" but have no reason behind saying just that. I want a second season and more in the manga. This is the best anime I've seen that involves evolution and aliens and artificially created gods...kinda a spoiler c; Just read the manga

Hi,
the problem here is that this anime skipped some parts in the last few episodes because they didnt have the budget to create a second season i guess. So they just concluded the story at episode 13 unfortunately :/

Wow, this anime is REALLY underrated. Ranked #2803 (last time I checked), most people avoid anime with this bad ranks. Even I do, but it looked so interesting that I went for it anyway. (Because I like Mystery).

I do think that there are lots of unanswered questions and lack on explanation in this anime. But regardless, I still really enjoyed it (stayed up the whole night marathoning it). I really want a second season but this is one of those situations when it's unlikely to happen even if the story really needs it. *cough*Umineko*cough*

I'm not the type of guy who reads manga and novels, but... this might be a rare exception.

Oh and I prefer this rather than Elfen Lied.

This is the first anime ever that got me reading the manga, and I've seen really good anime like samurai flamenco, koi kaze, baccano, and ben-to... (albeit not many anime but less of that generic-fanservice crap except when I used to watch ecchi)

not to de-value those anime series or anything, it's just cause I'm very interested in the story and it's a shame the anime didn't earn enough money to start a second season so they wouldn't have to compress the story and it's a shame the second OP theme fades into existence...

Because that shit go hard, y'know? https://youtu.be/Hhayw9hNJX4

Unfortunately, there is not really a chance right now, and sine it looks like the manga may be starting to enter the final arch, or at least another large scale battle. Not really sure, but I know it is at a weird length where there is too much for another season, but not enough for any larger format...sad, but try the manga, and start from chapter 1 to not miss any details.

Broh , sorry , has Aldnoah have something to do with this anime?
and by the way , can you give some respect to the anime you hate a little bit ?
and for me too , i can't see that Aldnoah was a really boring anime. maybe you said that because you just only see the season 1 ? Well, whatever it was , it has nothing to do with me , so don't take my word so seriously

I think the anime was good, but if there was a season two it'd be hard to make more episodes to continue it. I suggest just reading the manga.

I have not gone into To-love Ru, but I wold imagine that there is a lot less blatant fanservice. That being said, I cannot see a good spot for a 12 episode season 2 to end. Eight would get it though one event, and 14 would get it to another. About 20 to catch up to the manga in the middle of shit happening. Even now, it is not at a particularly good point in the story.

So much potential, but poor execution. I liked the show OK, the story itself was interesting. However the switch between plotless harem ecchi, and serious story messed it up for me. It could have been great but it was only OK. That being said I would like a season two to see if I can redeem itself.
