Seems pretty popular too me. Vol. 1 got 11k BD sales within its first 2 weeks and 10k usually means it's a hit.

The first season covered only like 2 volumes out of 11 that is out, so yeah, there definitely is enough for more.

It was already mentioned in a different thread that the studio that animates this series is currently doing Akame ga Kiru til the end of this year, so hopefully, we can see a season 2 in 2015.

Wow, I didn't realize they were adapting it so slowly (then again being quick didn't help Batooom). Also that 2nd tidbit of info was rather informative & has boosted my hopes for a season 2.

It's been almost two years since it aired so I can't remember how well it dvds/bds sold but from what I recall it did very well in it's sales.

IIRC recently in Japan there's a poll about "which anime that you want to get the 2nd season" and Hataraku Maou-sama actually placed 2nd which means it's pretty popular alright.. Hope it can get the 2nd season eventually..

I think it is quite popular with the BD sales it had, I don't know much content has the series cover in the LN, sadly, anime industry doesn't want McDo to have it's 2nd anime adaptation

I'm still hoping for another season.. There are a lot of great and even better anime, but this will be my favorite.
