| i might do that too...except that i can't read jap in all its forms *aahh filled with even more despair*. :( even though i want to learn eventually. but that's quite a surprising bit of info in any case...i guess pri school kids over there could buy a Jump! with their pocket money but it's definitely not the case here. |

| Is it really cheaper at Sunshine Plaza? I went to that place before but didn't know there's a bookstore there since I never exactly went in it. The standard english manga price that I usually see iis $8.50. |

| Yep, so far I've only bought Chuang Yi but I think the price is abt the same for other publishers. Btw, I finally went in Sunshine Plaza but only got to stay for a while. I saw 2 manga stores there and there were tons and tons and tons of english manga. heavenly~ X) I didn't get to ask the price though coz I was late in meeting my fren. @snowfish sunshine plaza is at bugis, near the old NAFA building, a few blocks from the National Library. |

I buy volumes in Japanese only because I believe in preserving the author's uhh.. feelings (?) which may be lost in translation. Picked up Japanese a while back just for that. Still have a little trouble with the seinen manga without furigana though. Need some help from a dictionary. |

| How do you subscribe to magazines? Are there any sites which I can do it from online? And yeah the Kino prices are horrible. Compared to the retail price on the covers, they charge quite an exorbitant amount. Especially their illustration books. |

| tell you the truth, i dont even know where to get mangas even if i wanted to started reading and collecting them. I got my first complete series of zoids manga from, believe it or not, tiong bahru 7 eleven and popular. hahahahaha.. if its the malay 'manga' ur referring to which is obviously not and im trying to be funny here, id just find the tree. jkjk.. as for my anime.. hmm.. how should i say it.. they mysteriously appear? Ive got one helluva computer, i must say. heh heh heh. |

| I get my manga from Comics Connection/Kinokuniya. Mostly get from Taiwanese publishers if Chuangyi is slow. And hell they sure are ^^ For my anime, I don't use voodoo magic! It's too.. primitive. You know that uncle who sells ice-cream on his motorbike? Tell him this "ODEX sucks.". He'll open a secret compartment in his ice-cream box that contains a legion of fresh anime from Japan. For free. And you'll never see uncles selling icecream on a motorbike in the same light anymore ;D. (YHBT) |

| The only manga I buy Is Yotsubato and Ichigo Mashomaro, both of whihc are easily found in any Kinokuniya. I don't buy any anime other than Studio Ghibli films. I bought them overseas. |

| I read them online instead of buying them. They take a long time to be published. Best still, most of them are in chinese which sometimes hinder my understanding. However, Comics Connection and Kinokuniya (Taka) is where I'll buy the mangas. Animes, I won't buy 'cos like destinyfate has stated, the distributor here just sucks. The subbing can be horribly off. To think that we paid for that =.=" Oh gosh. |
