| Well, it probably had something to do with that it was years since Togashi had last used Hisoka and his art had changed since then. Suffice to say, I noticed this when reading the Election arc. He also does one of the weirdest, Jojo-esque poses in the series so that kind of caught me off guard as well. It didn't take too long to get over it, though. It's kind of cool that Madhouse is even being faithful in this regard, imo. |

You're talking to a Hisoka fan here, I can tell that he looks different. *Checks one more time* New belt, waist, and earrings. Long wrist thingies, different undershirt, and minor colour differences in clothes... pattern on the shirt changed to club and spade, and is also a v-neck (reminiscent of his hunter exam outfit)... otherwise similar to the outfit he wore in the GI arc... I don't notice any difference in the hair, except for being slightly more orange. Belt and earrings are the biggest difference, but on the whole it doesn't constitute a BIG difference. Also, thighs are looking good. A difference in Hisoka's appearance is more significant during the heaven's arena and yorknew arc since his whole colour scheme changed (even changed the colours on the markers on his face), and new shoes! |
