I don't see the appeal. It wasn't very enthralling, and I didn't much like the characters, besides Totoro. It was worth watching though. |

Totoro is still so cute. Even though he is scary, but I think he is so adorable. I like how this movie runs. The scenes with Totoro are so nice especially the Cat-Bus. Hope I can find like Totoro too. xD "Perhaps the distant part of the sky always seems clearest, so that we will always strive to reach it." ![]() chiquit |

Having lost a parent recently, I was in tears pretty much as soon as the mother was introduced.. having to see the girls consider their mothers death was unbearable. Was she just pregnant? Because from the credit scenes it looked like there was a new baby with the two girls, and it would make sense for satsuki to remember there being one other time where her mother had had a similar cold (as she mentioned JUST before she started crying)... Anyway. A very nice movie. I liked the gentle nature of Totoro as well. 9/10. |

Cat Bus FTW Totoro actually made me laugh out loud a few times. I didn't have high expectation other than it was a Ghibli film, but I loved it ![]() "If you were to turn into a snake tomorrow and begin devouring humans, and from the same mouth you started devouring humans, you cried out to me 'I love you,' would I still be able to say 'I love you' the same way I do today?" |

i really liked this, but watching with parents making synide remarks all the way through kind of put a downer on the whole thing D: totoro and that cat bus were so kawaii :3 the only thing i didn't like was the VA of Mei, she was quite irriatating -.-" she needed a good slap (i watched the subbed version and haven't seen the dub but i can't imagine it being better) |

The first third was some of the most annoying anime I've ever watched. It did get better after the 30 minute mark, but still a 5/10. Just can't "feel" it. |
