| There's definitely a lack of manga mods right now. That said, I'm gonna pass on this. The workload scares me and I'm not confident in my knowledge of the database guidelines and doing research on the details. I'm also busy IRL as it is. I'm just gonna do my part and just submit characters and character relations with some reports on entries here and there on both anime and manga. Good luck to the applicants. |

| I wonder how many minor parts, if any, can the one sending in an application get wrong to be still accepted to the team/proceed to the next round. Skimming through the exam a little, it certainly requires one to know what he/she is doing. If nothing else, the work done to complete the exercises can serve as good practice for sometime when the position is open once you do meet the minimum age requirements. |

The Mods are sure that the manga has finished, but quite a lot of other sites state differently. Manga-Updates claim that the second volume of the series is still on-going. Mangago has the 18th chapter released, while MAL's database tells that the series have finished publishing with 17 chapters in total. Batoto tends to hit the same story, with 18 chapters released in total. Regardless, I'm pretty sure you'll gain more if you post this sort of issues in the Manga DB sub-forum. On both, 18 chapters are released overall. I just went through it again, and I highly doubt I'm unable to count to 18... Let's go through it together, by taking Batoto for example: Volume 1 includes 8 chapters overall, with the whole volume being translated by a group called Gantz_Waitingroom. Volume 2 includes 10 chapters overall, with the whole volume being translated by a group called Japanzai. 8 + 10 = 18, or so was the last time I checked. I'll feel really silly if I'm not correct over here, but how can there be less original Japanese releases than translated English releases? There doesn't appear to be much logic behind that. Still, it's a rather interesting case that seems easy to get right, yet the Manga DB moderating team seems to disagree. Please, do explain your reasoning more, even via PM if this thread isn't a suitable place for that. I want to get to the bottom of this! xD Edit: Never-mind, it would seem MAL's database has the original split from '67, '73, and '80 in different entries. As long as they are all covered, there is no issue, other than the one of orientation (as you've said, I doubt this will be the last problem reporting at-hand for this specific case).
