Hahah this oav was funny :) Not perfect, but very amusing!

Things I did not like - the inconsistent animation- it was often very poorly drawn and animated. Yet then it would switch to moments of really pretty animation. Did not like Rijyuu's voice - woah, way too high, even for a young uke type! I could not believe that was a guy doing his voice ^_^; I think I also would have preferred someone other than Midorikawa Hikaru in the lead role XD He is just too recognizable for me, I keep picturing him in the studio reading his lines :) The ending theme music was horribly 80's generic synthesizer porn music that seems to be in all yaoi oavs and drama CDs. -_-;

Things I did like - the background music and sound effects. Those moments when the animation got really good. The still frames with the sparkles or other amusing reactions. The SD scenes and the stabby arrows ^^ Funaba, publisher manager guy was all kinds of awesome too :D He had a lot of cute blushes that weren't in the manga :) Shuunsuke looked hot through the whole thing. The cut out some scenes, eliminated some smutty bits, but they spiced up the one smut scene they did leave in XD

Anyway, this was cute.

so would you recommend me to watch it??? btw.... are you watching it subbed or you can understand the RAW?

I would recommend watching it if you are a yaoi fan. It is certainly not the worst yaoi anime ever made XD Just don't expect a masterpiece ^^ I watched it raw, which I can understand well enough. If you have read the manga, then understanding this shouldn't be a problem, since it follows pretty much the same plot.

i thought it was pretty good for yaoi it will keep me intrested and thats all i need.

it made me lol. who would've thought yaoi could actually be amusing.

as for it being like papa to kiss in the dark, i don't think so 'cause at least it isn't weird i'm your father but not really i'm your uncle-cest.

I didn't really care for it either. Not real curious about future episodes, either - ended up dropping it.

Well, I liked it because it reminded me of a cross between Gravitation and Papa to Kiss in the Dark, which I also liked. Both had me LOL and my heart aching. I did hear there's supposedly a second OVA. Guess we'll see.

That was quite funny, I laughed a lot about these ridiculously weird characters. Especially Riyuu, who just smiles at the fact his dad is dating his best friend. o_O

I can't really say Kirepapa is very original though. It surely has a Papa to Kiss in the Dark-vibe and I also recognised some Junjou Romantica in it.

Something that also bugged me, was the horrible voice acting and the lack of background sounds. -_-

I think I rotted my mind from this. Everything seemed so cookie cutter and really nothing new to bring to the table. Also, the story moved waaaay too fast for my taste. If this were plain smut storyline it still didn't make any sense. "Oh I love this author, wait this author is really a guy and it's you?! And you love me as well?" Then they're all lovey lovey? WTH?!

Possibly potentially decent anime ruined for lack of any substance to back where this love for each other even came from. Sensitive Pornograph had more of my interest than this. =/

The art is really good and so is the manga ;DD

Didn't hate it, but didn't love it either. I sort of found the characters a bit annoying though...

I agree with this, I was made to wach it, and I think it's waste of time, and also pitful experience, two guys kissing each other and have sex is not enought to create good series, there has to be a plot, real plot ( for example Junjo Romantica ), not something like was here ( "Oh! I love you", "Oh! I love you too" "Oh! But my son..." "Oh! He'll understand it" "I don't know" "Let's make love" "Oh! Ok" [sorry for spoilers])

I nearly fell off of my chair, it was hilarious yet, the voices weren't perfect xD It sounded really cheesy..
