| Glad to see Gintama movie up there. Would've been great if it broke 100,000 too but it still has pretty damn great sales. Look at these amazing sales and just bring the goddamn anime back, Sunrise. D:< Monogatari selling that high is just normal lol. No surprise at all. |

| Conspicuously missing Love Live Vol 1. Also Sunrise clearly doing VERY well (they arguably take DVD and Music and if you actually include Love Live too have a sizeable chunk of Blu-Ray) but of course it's MAL so people only see the SHAFT stuff that's doing well and comment on that cause they're just the greatest. Not that they aren't doing well again with their like two hit franchises ever period.....one of which is dwindling in sales averages pretty noticeably from it's peak 4 years ago, but like man it's clearly so not all about them as some people make it out to be. I'm curious to see where Love Live will end up once all is said and done and all the BD's are out and how it'll play into the 2nd half of the year. Edit: Oh my bad it didn't make the cut cause it came out a week and a half after the first half list cutoff happened. |

Yet to see the first two! But I know I shall enjoy! Yorozuya yo Eien Nare is probably the best anime movie I have seen all year. And then the list also has lots of Monogatari and SnK, which was expected. But what got my attention was this: Can we please expect more Natsume? Other wishes include Monogatari Final and Gintama - The Beginning of the Epic Finale. (I think only Gintama fans will understand what that means :D) |

We will have to see where Vol.2 (release on July 25th) ends up first to gauge how the anime will sell in terms of average. Vol.2~7 will also have significant storefront sales, so the Stalker estimates aren't so useful for Love Live! Some are suspecting another event ticket application will be bundled with Vol.7, so if that comes true then expect it to also sell massive numbers (don't think quite as high as Vol.1, since it'll have 2 episodes instead of 1 this time). Vol.1 is looking to have a massive 2nd week. Recent daily rankings below... Vol.1 is above Koimonogatari on release day and post release day, above Date A Live II on pre-release day. Koimonogatari would've sold most on pre-release day since it is more Amazon heavy, but still a fair chunk on BDs on release day, maybe 5k or so for Koimono on release day. BD |
