| Wow, just wow. This might be one of my favorite episodes in this series. Meruem has truely change, hopefully, for the better. I wonder what he thinks about his supposed King status. |

| this episode represent how good story is enough to be interesting without any action or whatever, i just didn't feel it was 20 minutes, it's ended so fast. i knew the once mureum will remember kogumi he will change, but not that much, he seems now more human than ever. i actually would like that pouf would be punished for real, but i guess it's enough to see him like this. |

| People don't understand the impact of their actions. I still believe that humans are the worst species to ever exist on this planet. But, man, this episode was so fricking good. I can't hate Meruem. He's such a great villain. Also, Komugi is so precious to him. I love it. |

| So now what is probably my favourite moment from HxH comes from none other than freaking Welfin: "Komugi(?) *head tilt*" And as annoying as it was to have Pouf continuously try to hide Komugi from Meruem, it was only through his undying loyalty and wanting the best for his king that he tried to do so. The man had enough resolve to die for it, to die for the benefit of his king. Respect. Still was annoying though lol I've said it before but MAN the voice acting is just on a level above everything we usually see. I now regret watching it in dub before. Also while I do still feel that the events that happen do drag a little, it's still written so well especially with the thoughts that go on inside our characters' heads that the episodes really feel shorter than they actually are. Honestly any qualms that people might have about this arc should just be negated by the fact that we have this S-tier of a character in Meruem carrying the whole arc with even merely just his presence. The York New City arc is still superior imo, just because it moves so much more quickly |

| Man, Welfin just has the worst luck. I can't help but feel sorry for the guy at this point. At least he gets to survive all his encounters so far. I really like the plot twist(?) that Netero has actually won his fight and the ants are slowly dying. Having his fight be for nothing just felt lame and... kind of too predictable. This is much more interesting. |

Anyways, The Chimera Ant arc is so, so overrated. I felt let down. Still love HxH tho. I found this episode to be great, but I agree that the arc itself has been poor overall. I'm pretty much just pushing through so I can say I've seen the entire series and give it a proper rating. Hope the next two episodes provide a satisfying conclusion to the arc and that the next one is better. |
