I've never seen the OP or Reideen, but I've heard it sucks absolute ass, so the second option would probably be fitting hahaha

I didn't care for the music at all (but I usually skip all OPs anyway unless I really like them) but I thought the animation was hilarious. Misleading is the best way to describe it. Makes it seem like there is going to be this full fledged romance between the two, which doesn't happen until like the last few episodes.

I suppose the best way to look at it, is that these cheesy snapshots take place after the series ends.

Seperately, the art and the music are fine, but when combined together and brought into this OP they spell trouble. Nothing but trouble.

So should I watch this show or not?

I like the song, but the op animation does rather strangely have a singular focus that is not representative of the series as a whole... :3

Probably not. There's 90% chance you'll drop it after 1 or 2 episodes. I almost did, but my OCD completist nature wouldnt allow me and I finished the whole thing. It did actually grow on me a bit, the characters are charming and the music is really good. The story is very simple, the CGI battles clunky and always at night. They use the same montage of Reideen powering up in every single episode, you'll either find this incredibly funny or incredibly tiresome.

I dont know what else to say except this strange series entertained me because after the first episode I lowered my expectations dramatically, and so the final episode exceeded them with its ridiculously epic climax.

If you've got nothing better to do, then check it out, otherwise make other anime your main priority.

Yes it does. When I heard that it would be a remake, I was hoping for something like Mazinkaiser or New Getter Robo; instead, we ended up with something like Gundam SEED. :(

i'v seen worse than this (like Code-E for ex)
not saying that Reideen's is bad..unless you are referring to the animation that is? (still not that bad)

Also, this opening don't spoils anything from the plot, and that's very important for me.
