Akko's plans got roined and their relationship becomes even more weird. I wonder what the f**k went through Mari's head to run away like that even afer such a green light form Akko... well, I hope she really was sick or that wouldn't have had any sense. Seriously, it's starting to become annoying...

Maybe Mari couldn't stand out of laying down of embarassing then she quickly get up and ran way, normally have seen quite a bit while watching anime or reading manga.
Yeah we all knew they wouldn't easy get together and know it together feeling.
xD

blopa : There is many others opionen there why she did ran away, not only for being sick.
But I don't think that is the reason why she getting up in hurry and ran away.

I do enjoy Akiko's pov better because she can make a decision and stick with it. IMO Mari is being selfish.

I wonder why I'm even reading this sometimes... I should just wait till the entire volume is released instead of wanting to bang my head into the wall every month.

Amazing chapter though--at least we know Akko wants Mari sexually... sort of.

well it's kind of natural when you're in love with someone, right ?

I really like that Akko is very decided, it really fits her personality. Mari's pretty annoying with her behavior, and I couldn't believe she would say something like "I given up on you". I was really happy to see Akko's reaction being strong and solid.

As much as Mari is vag-blocking her own relationship with Akko, you can't blame her. Akko hasn't been clear about her feelings at all. And you have to put yourself in Mari's shoes. To her:

- Akko is straight.
- Akko kisses girls in friendly ways.
- She can't risk losing her best friend.
- She has to try to make Akko comfortable.

To say she's given up on her is Mari's way of trying to put Akko at ease. Sort of like, "I don't think about you like that any more--please don't feel uncomfortable or awkward around me. Please don't hate me. Please don't think I'm gross."

It also facilitates her getting over her own feelings for Akko. She thinks it's a one-sided love that will never be fulfilled. By saying she doesn't love Akko like that, even if it's a lie, is a way of convincing herself that she does not so she can move on with life.

Yeah I understand that kind of thinking, but I hate it. Rejecting your own feelings is just stupid, it won't solve anything and will just make everything more difficult. We saw what happened when Mari tried to date a guy right ?

And, seriously, she could just ask Akko about her feelings, but she's too weak-minded for that. Also obviously that can't happen since we're in a romance manga and the whole story is based on their relationship going back and forth, until the end where everything'll be clear, and everyone happy...

Anyway, now is the time for Akko to convey her feelings to Mari, I predict it'll come around ch. 28 :p

It's funny how their situations have basically flip-flopped. Now its Akko who's loving Mari and all embarassed about it.
