| Honestly, it's because I can't find anything like this, that I ask for help. There are very few that I acknowledge as having good relationship development and those don't have a non-human female. Well some have an alien girl, but she looks like a regular human. |

| Hitoribocchi no Chikyuu Shinryaku, maybe. Its still a bit early to tell for sure if it'll meet your romance requirements, but its a good series and the female lead is an alien. Ran and the Grey World, maybe. It has romance in it, and its a fairly important part of the series, but I'm not sure if it meets your requirements. Female lead is a witch. Also has other romances going in the background involving other witches, tengu and werewolves. Mahou Tsukai no Yome, maybe. Its still really early, but it looks like the romance will go the way you want. Its the guy that's not human though. Seto no Hanayome, maybe. The female lead is a mermaid and the two mains get married pretty much immediately, but its a fairly typical shounen romanctic comedy other than that. @Pain_is_Love: Itoshi no Kana is a very good example of what the OP is looking for, though it is borderline H and the romance is mostly of the happy couple variety. |

| Utawarerumono. He doesn't really "get a girlfriend" but he's basically the only human and he gets a lot of non-human girls that really like him. He technically has a girlfriend which would be the main girl, she has animal ears. InuKami! Too, the girl that he ends up with is a dog god. Omamori Himari is about a guy with a cat god, there is also a water goddess and a ghost/spirit girl. |

| I can't believe no one's said Spice and Wolf yet. Love between a man and a wolf goddess. Definitely romance. Not much action but the fun lies in the dialogue that is being exchanged (lots of aww moments). EDIT: saw from your anime list that you've already watched them. EDIT2: maybe The World God Only Knows but it's more harem with devils and goddesses. |
