I remember watching it when I was a kid (can't remember how old I was though), and for some reason I really enjoyed it. Of course the dub here was never completed, and now that I've gotten more into anime, I'm watching the subs from the beginning, and like you said, it's very repetitive, but still quite enjoyable :) |

Ha, yet another old post Im dragging up. Im feeling a bit nostalgic ;) Anyway, if you need to talk about a, nything Sailor Moon, please feel free to message me anytime. I would like to concider myself a bit of an expert, just cause i have to be ;) I help run the Sailor Moon panel every year at Anime Boston. As for the fans themselves, they are out there. Just maybe talked out? This is a fandom that I have been actively involved in for 15years....wow...when I put it that way....just wow. Anway, for the seasons. If you haven't watched Stars yet, definitely work your way up there. If it wasn't due to the fact that Mamoru wasn't in it, it definitely would have been my favorite series (he goes of to the US to study, leaving Usagi to the fine hands of Seiya ;)) Some of the best episodes come from that season. It is amazing to compare the growth of Usagi from ep 1 to 200. The differance is shocking. Not many series follow the character changes so closely. She not only changes physically, but emotionally and mentally as well. Also, when you finish Sailor Moon, I definitely suggest watching PGSM as well (Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon) That is the live action version. Its the Sailor Moon fan's wet dream really. Its a different spin on the story, while incorperating more of the manga, and more Mamoru ;) |
