| You guys know any really good action anime to watch? I have a suprising lack of action anime on my to watch list on my computer. What I did was come up with 46 anime to watch this year (after doing a lot of research) which all seem like I will like them alot, However, I was for some reason only able to come up with 6 series out of that 46 that were action focused or have a good bit of action in them, most are like drama, romance, psychological, or comedy. The only action ones I have on the list are Soul Eater ,Full Metal Panic, and Ashita no Joe, Diebuster, Outlaw Star, and Hellsing Ultimate. Don't include Bleach, Naruto, One Piece, Hunter x Hunter, Hitman Reborn, D-Gray Man, Hajime no Ippo (neither the ones on my hold list: Blue Exorcist, Brave 10, Darker than Black, Fist of the North Star, S-cryed) . I don't care which era of anime they come from, as long as they are high quality. I don't prefer sports anime, but I do count those as "action" so if you really think there is one that is amazing go ahead and recommend it. Here are some action oriented anime I really enjoyed, but don't feel like you have to tailor your suggestions to them: Ruroni Kenshin, Samurai Champloo, Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood, Black Lagoon, Code Geass, Magi, Gundam Wing.. |

| I've compiled a list specifically for this very question: - Redline - Cencoroll - Samurai Champloo - Cowboy Bebop - FMA: Brotherhood - Ghost in The Shell (and all of it's meta series/movies) - Rebuild of Evangelion - Kyoukai no Kanata - FMP: The Second Raid - Little Witch Academia - Guilty Crown - Yozakura Quartet: Hana no Uta - Bayonetta: Bloody fate - Kyoukaisenjou no Horizon - Nichijou (it has a lot of action shoot and better animation than most 'action anime') - Eiyuu Densetsu: Sora no Kiseki - Towa no Quon - Fate Zero (only because it has good production value, but the key-animation itself is never impress me) - Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn (or rather, every pretentious projects from Sunrise). - Psycho-Pass - Darker Than Black - Blood: The Last Vampire - Black Rock Shooter OVA (The TV series is pretty awful in comparison, but its your call) - Madoka Magica Movie Trilogy - Sword of The Stranger All above titles have excellent action animation. |
