| lmao at Hanzo. Also got a good laugh when Gon was like "She said I was just like Leorio" & Kurapika was all "That must've hurt". Honestly, I'm kinda depressed they cut this out of the 2011 anime (three alterations I now disagree with). This was quality stuff. |

I think the Gon being said he was compared to Leorio and Kurapika making the same dish was in the 2011 anime, it was just with the pork instead of the sushi. |

Now that you mention it, I think the Gon thing probably was in the anime. Oops. As for Kurapika making the same dish, it wasn't technically in the 2011 anime. The jokes shared the same structure but the payoff was different. The punchline here was him making the same exact dish as Leorio did. In the 2011 anime, he made a dish that looked radically different from the others but he sacrificed taste to do so & thus still failed. Both funny but I prefer the manga version. Though I'm glad the only things I wish were in the anime from the manga so far are minute details like this event (well, minus the beginning). |
