| I prefer the second opening. I never get bored of it, while with the first opening after 5 episodes I was like "I'm over it". Also I like what they did with these openings. First one is full of hope and Light wanting to become a God with good intentions while the second one is full of anger and Light thinking he's above all. |

| Not a fan of the second opening at all. I thought the first was much more fitting and the visual style of the first was much more in line with the tone of the show. I do see how it breaks up the parts where the show parted ways with L, but it seems much more random and abstract than the first one. |
