| Im going to start it because it is number 1 in the 'top anime' list... apparently its really good. But what do I have to watch first? And can someone explain what makes FMA so good? The synopsis given on MAL isnt anything too special. Is it emotional? Or what? Thanks for reading this :D |

| Brotherhood is canon and the first series is full of fillers so basically you just watch Brotherhood to get to main story. What I really like about FMA is the elemental powers. I don't know but I like that sort of powers and the story is really intriguing. I rated it 9/10 but its not one of my favorite anime. I also like the drama in the series and how they show the cruel nature of humanity. Definitely worth watching! |

| In any case, take into accoutn that FMA is an original anime as well, so it is worth your time even if Brotherhood is superior. |

| I haven't watched FMA:Brotherhood but that's partially because I watched FMA and I was not the biggest fan. I have heard that FMA:Brotherhood is a lot better though so I may give it a try but if you plan on watching one I'd say at least watch FMA:Brotherhood first. |
