I really know next to nothing about the novels, but the fact that both Takeshi Obata and Tite Kubo are involved interests me. I can't wait to see this? Anybody got anymore info? Or maybe know a place with the translated novels?

I don't think any of the translations are in the public domain, so finding them online will be hard. Maybe Run, Melos! or Hell Screen, but definitely not the novels.

Run, Melos! is the only one I haven't read. Seriously, if they pull off Kokoro and No Longer Human, this will be amazing. Hell Screen is already tailor-made for an anime adaptation. The other two will be slightly more difficult, but beautiful, hopefully.

Edit: Oops, seems I was wrong. Here's a link to the entire text of Kokoro: http://www.ibiblio.org/eldritch/ns/soseki.html

They are being very hush hush about this one. Can't even find a promo on youtube. Very strange indeed.

Guess it safe to say it's going to have horrorish vibes?

Well now that I see Madhouse is the studio I'm relieved to some extent because they tend to actually be good at adapting stuff. I would still really like to know who the director/directors will be though. Especially considering that the only real promotion of the series seems to revolve around the character designs which is the exact opposite of what matters in a show like this.

Oh right, I forgot that Madhouse doesn't actually employ any decent directors except for films.

I kid, I kid. This is actually a surprisingly good looking line-up and, as such, I will expect good things from the show.

Its already aired, and no theres no trailer. I watched it live, and it seemed very interesting, and well animated.. Too complex for me to understand raw though.

Was no op this episode, and ed was quite bad.

Are you serious!? I was able to find all the stories and books EASY! Kokoro was published by Tuttle, a huge English publishing company. If you couldn't find the books translated, then you're fucking lazy.
