I think I'm going to pick up Wolf Children. Looks pretty good.

I'm thinking of doing that soon too.

Nice to see Railgun up there on that list for this week. I can't even remember the last time it was on it.

And to think that Watamote was once on the verge of being cancelled. I'm surprised that Devils and Realist and Inu x Boku SS are doing so well, I thought they weren't all that popular.

Watamote and InuxBokuSS are both much worse plot wise than Naruto.

And that really says something.

Couldn't comment on those, as I don't know enough about them to make a judgement, but I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case. Just makes the list all that more laughable.

Tomoko seems popular this week.

Maybe there isn't much of a plot, but at least Watamote does great with comedy. It would be stupid to compare it to Naruto, because they're so different.

Watamote is ok.

InuxBokuSS is a blight on anime/manga.

Its shoujo and shounen fan service merged into the same series with no plot to keep it going.

No big surprises here, except for first place.

Nice to see Railgun. Hope the Index novels sell well, too.

Great for Watamote. It's such a funny manga.

It's a shame Attack on Garbage is still in the top 10 though.

I agree with JD2411...I mean, I do love the anime, but the manga's drawings aren't THAT good...

Watamote is light on plot, for sure, but it does have one. Things happen and it does build toward some manner of climax, even if it is slow-paced, with a focus on character interaction above all else. While it doesn't follow conventional/intricate plot structure, saying that Watamote has no plot is just lazy argument.

Something like Tomoko getting her mouth stuck into vacuum cleaner, nearly get her respiratory incapacitated, and desperately struggling to get out of it. That also counts as plot.

If anything, i really find it a little bewildering why so many fans have issues with the lack of a more commonly accepted plot structure with this series (or any other Slice of Life series for that matter). Have to wonder if it's a cultural thing.
