We do get a little insight on that tattoo though. Kids have it though in this show tbh. Understanding the world is hard even with you have a cool sword. |

| Pretty good episode this week. I'm glad that the little girl had a place to go to in the end. Kinda surprised Aruka was able to kill those guys because it looked like she was in pretty bad shape. |

| Didn't really like the boy. When one has power, he will do everything to maintain that power, no matter the sacrifices. The little girl has a good heart and atleast a home. The hunt on Aruka is back on track, I guess. |
| Damn.. Looks like Aruka has trouble with her eyesight.. Her memory segments were interesting. Why her master's hand resembles that of a cat? O.o That master's teachings regarding sword reminds me a bit of Rurouni Kenshin. Similar ideas. Seto was quite brave; attacking that robber and killing him in process. Though, he was also immoral to use the sword for himself only.. Aruka sure doesn't waste time once she fully regains her eyesight & powered up inscription. XD Too bad, the kid died.. Karen is very nice; giving that little girl a place to belong to. :) Good episode. That street musician giving a philosophical monologue was a good addition. |

| Well the kids were living without parents (probably dead) in a shanty and steals food to get by. Despair isn't really a foreign concept to them but yeah I guess her recovery time is a bit unnatural. What's funny and sad at the same time was that she actually got a job to make a living while her brother had to resort to committing crimes which cost him his life. |

| Pretty slow episode imo, felt bored during the first half. I don't really get Seto tbh, I mean yes both him and his sister are poor, but does he have to go on a rampage and killing innocent people. Probably that's the reason why he got killed by those guys. The sister on the other hand, I have some good points for her, like taking care of Aruka, and becoming independent at the end. Aruka should at least show some emotions about Seto's grave though. |
| I hope he doesn't feel like killing will be his only way to survive now. 1 coin for all that >.> So he is killing... Poor kid, but I feel worse for the little sister. At least she isn't in despair, she is so admirable; I hope we see her later in the story same with that girl from the burned village. Best episode yet by far in my books. Next episode sounds interesting. |

| Slow episode? I don't think so. It's nice to see Aruka's past and her master. Their conversation might become important for Aruka to control whatever power she has. I mean this kind of thing is common in action stories, finding the reason you fight will make you & your resolve stronger. I don't see the need for every episode to have constant bloodshed (although this ep is pretty gory) or super powers show-off. Some people are just too impatient. |

| Sure it wasn't great but it was much better than the last crappy episode, we finally get to see some more backstory and Alka development. I liked it even with the flaws. |
| Yeah, I'm done. I can't follow this anymore, I'm tired of watching Alka not do anything but kill people. She is a silent protagonist (granted she talks like once in a while), who shows no emotion and I hate watching her be a useless extra in her own show. Maybe she'll develop towards the end of the show, but now all she does is wander around, seeking revenge in the most boring way possible. |

For this show. I'm not impatient if it's done right. Space Brothers is my favourite anime, and it's not exactly known for being fast-paced. The problem with this anime is that there seems to be a lack of story or progression. I don't get what could be so significant about a child getting a job. Yes, she'll probably be seen again in the anime, but I doubt she'll be part of the plot. I don't even get what the teachings were actually teaching. All I saw was that Alka has more willpower than the boy, who didn't listen to the teachings. I kinda find everything about this anime boring and cliché. Even though Alka is emotionless, I do like her character, and that's about the only thing I like. I don't know why I continue to watch the show though.... |

| Hmmm I feel like if it wasn't for that bounty hunter I would've enjoyed this episode more... I really dislike how much dialogue and airtime she gets when she's such a minor character that's really annoying. I actually liked the pace of this episode. I haven't thought about philosophy about the sword in awhile so it kind of re-ignited/resonated with me. It made me think of the saying, "Those who live by the sword, die by the sword." I enjoyed the conversation between the master and Aruka as well as the super-imposing the master's words on Aruka's blindness, catching the sword while blind, as well as everything going on with Seto, the little boy. |

| 4/5 Episode that follows a logical thread very simple but not boring. The director does not seem so bad, for a long time and more than enough explanations. Narration calm and full of introspection, a chapter granted, but you need to finish. Many of us will be able to find the right food for thought, cute. Drawings and animations discrete ending that I like too. It is not as disappointing as I thought this anime series, I await the next episodes. The girl realizes that he has to roll up their hands, not nice to see once again a story too watered down. Alka is too devoid of feelings sometimes, but there is, life is hard in the end. Live by the sword, die by the sword. |

| I think i like this series. I was expecting to drop it on episode 3 but here i am. I really like the cruel setting of the world. It wasn't was i expected from a mmo adaptation. And of course, character design is as attractive as generic (best noses of the season). |
| Don't get why anyone feels sorry for the brother, he was a murderous little shithead. The first guy was self-defense but after that he was straight up murdering people for their stuff. He deserved to die and for once they weren't afraid to give a kid what they deserved. Glad this series is ignoring the 'Infant Immortality' trope, it's extremely unrealistic with how callous of a setting this is. Other than that, not much to say. Average episode, on to the next. |
| At first I thought the boy was showing courage by killing the man who was robbing the woman, but then he turns around and starts murdering people for money. Brat deserved to die. It seems that there are "terrible rumors" about Karen.. interesting indeed. And of course Master Hon had to be a deformed old man :/ |

| The kid deserved it. I'm starting to think that the bar is the world hub and that Karen seems to slightly fishy. I haven't touched the source material so no idea whats going to happen. |
