Through the recommendation I saw on Reddit one night when I was bored, I like many other people got swept along by Kill la Kill when it premiered back in November. I'd never seen a show like it before, and now that it's sadly over, I've been dipping my toes into the world of Anime to try and find other shows that I might enjoy.

This site is a fantastic asset for people like me. With the ability to make lists, research shows, get recommendations, read reviews, and discuss series that are a few months or years old (something you can't really do on Reddit's Anime subreddits). The layout also reminds me of old message boards I used to hang out on as a teenager.

So yeah, really just making this post to get used to how things work around here and such. Hopefully I won't spend too much time here - I have college exams coming up!

Hi there!
I've been into anime for some years but I only got super serious about watching it a few months back. I'm also relatively new to the site, and I still haven't picked an avatar for myself. We seem to share some tastes in action anime so I sent you a friend request. And yeah, I'm upset that the wild ride that was Kill la Kill came to an end, but I'm looking forward to new shows coming up to fill that hole.
