| So yeah I didn't actually finish HxH, yet I cheated and set it as completed anyway. No matter now though, I am going to be picking it up again from where I stopped watching it due to slight burn-out, which was around here. I think this was actually the last episode I watched before setting it down, due to me thinking the Chimera Ant arc had just gotten too slow for my taste. So here I am again, picking it up at this episode, Zero X Rose. And I can say, after watching hundreds of anime since then, this was a masterfully done episode, which is not only HxH, but all shounen at its peak. Anyway I'll be finishing off the Chimera arc as I should've done a long time ago, but idk if I'll be interested enough to watch the final Election arc or whatever. We'll see |

| If you look at my list of favorite animes, almost all of them have very good animation and drawing quality, and maybe the reason I like them is because the action sequences have these characteristics, something like the kimetsu no yaiba effect, that the only way to make an epic fight, a fight that will always be remembered by everyone for how good it is, is with good animation, with fast and accelerated sequences with great poses and waves of power and fire particles everywhere... BUT NOW I UNDERSTAND IT... You don't need fast sequences, you don't need hyper-fluid moments with hardcore blow-exchange and multiple fire proyectiles while the camera is going fast in one direction like black clover, you don't need super bright, shiny and exaggerated colors everywhere that make and epileptic fever dream all time... YOU DON'T NEED ALL OF THIS TO MAKE AN UNFORGETTABLE FIGHT |

| This along with that episode where Kurapika shows his true power while fighting against the phantom troupe are indeed the BEST episodes of Hunter X Hunter!!!! Loved the whole thing. RIP Chairman Netero :( |
| This episode with complete focus on Netero vs Mereum shows how bad the pacing has been in the previous episodes. This episode was slow in some parts as well but almost the whole fight seems to be finished in just one episode. Despite that, its one of the best episode of the series. |
