But while KissXSis is indeed ecchi (who will ever forget the glorious Twincest scene with Ako and Riko practicing having a threesome?!)....KissXSis never actually shows nudity, so they get taken down a peg or so. DXD is quite ecchi in the sense they're constantly showing tits, but they never really have any risque situations the way KissXSis has....so they also get taken down a peg. TLR Darkness has it all, PLENTY of nudity, PLENTY of risque situations, and borderline Hentai stuff....especially the manga, I mean they honestly get away with so much there (Dat Faucet for example). |

The anime is acutally really toned-down in nudity compared to the manga. The Anime still has penty of humiliating scenes, dont get me wrong. But to be honest, it would be better if you didnt read the manga. For me it was a really fucked up and depressing thing to read lol. |

Anyways, IMO ecchi is not supposed to be about full blown sex scenes... I always think of it as scenes that are supposed to entice or provoke the audience with sexuality without actually going past the line into sex. | Ecchi is short for H, which means hentai. Ecchi simply means hentai. Since using it as anything but hentai is misusing the word, it can mean whatever you want it to mean. Only on American/western websites do people throw around Ecchi like it means fan service. |

| There's plenty of Ecchi missing from that list in the wide world of anime, but I'll go easy on you. Now when you mean Ecchi anime are you saying you like the anime because of the ecchi element or you like the series as one of your favorites and it so happens to have ecchi? If the former, Kiss x Sis is the one of the few ecchi that wasn't a hentai that had me 'whip it out'. The latter, Kodomo no Jikan, come for the lolis, stay for the characters and plot. |
