| Infodump time. This just feels empty without the basic facts like the Activation Sequences and such. That fangirling Azusa. Mari best girl. And not everyone is like Hattori and Morisaki with their discrimination. Time for CAD checkup and will certainly be the main point of discussion this week. Lewd Miyuki is lewd. That reboot sequence. And that was just considered a prank huh. Imagine how it would be if she got seriously mad. You do not want to see Miyuki mad. Judgement desuno. And wielding 2 CAD. Morisaki is not amused, again. Erika rape time. Flag #1 from Tatsuya. Trouble huh. Tomato and Sugita voices. The latter is everywhere this season. And incoming one man army. That concludes volume 1. This will definitely reach vol7 now by this pace. Any other thoughts is just you deluding yourself. Episode still isn't done and Stark starts the thread. Sasuga firstfag. |

| It ended just when he was taking down the member of the kendo club^^ Tatsuya is way too strong! That was funny how Miyuki just nearly killed her brother because he didn't see her as a woman^^ |

| Tatuya said to Miyuki, "Moshi Moshi, Miyuki-san?" I also said in front of TV, "Moshi Moshi, Miyuki-san?" Miyuki seems that she has very deep love to him. I envy Tatsuya for his cute sister. If I were, I never make her sad. NEVER! Anyway, this episode was unhurried. And I had never heard that one school has Kendo club and Kenjutsu club at one time. |
| They are calling the martial art as magic? Discussing what he did. Vice is at least approving man guy's skill? There are two who works with him, who showed kindness after hearing that he beat the vice. The guy who had argument is also in the team. Visiting the clubs. Kendo clubs' having argument, and he stopped it, which other kendo club members are not satisfied. |

I just wanted to know if they handled the info dump well enough. Is that a such big thing to ask? And there's something called patience. Subs come out in just a few hours after it airs. Would it kill you to wait for it rather than looking stupid for asking how his favorite source was adapted and obviously haven't seen the episode yet? I don't care if you're familiar with the source(I am as well). It just says a lot about a person that can't even be patient with things. |

| Tatsuya still as badass as ever. He isn't even getting started. So this wraps up volume 1 of the novels if I'm not mistaken. Madhouse is doing this at a fast pace. Can't wait for next week's episode. This show has been great so far. |
| Impressive fighting. I'm not a fan of that cliffhanger ending, but we all know how the fight's going to end so it's not as big of a deal as it otherwise would be. That stoic expression on Tatsuya's face as Miyuki undresses... Overall, solid episode. I appreciate how Tatsuya just takes all the crap the Blooms throw at him with a straight face and kicks their asses. |

It seemed more like a slaughter. - Calibration for CAD was done in a rather interesting way with the Tatsuya auto skill scene making the scene worth it in the end. Most of the episode felt like a showcase of various types of magic from the psion control enabled via Loop Cast system to the Oscillation Type Close Combat Sonic Blade of the Kenjutsu club. Animation studio is doing an excellent job in the effects area with the displays and the modern sci fi simulations of the magic for visual explanations to the various particles and coloring employed when magic activated. Its so minor but so impactful for making everything shine in motion. |

| They didn't explain much of the info compared to when I read the manga. It is really cool that Tatsuya used that to the Kenjutsu members. Although it ended in a cliffhanger again. Looks like they are speeding up the pace now. |

Stupid club members don't seem to understand that their captain is being taken away because he used magic while Mibu didn't. Funny how discrimination can cloud your view so much like that. |

I don't know how much anime only viewers will get from the explanation but I thought it was a pretty good explanation (As an LN reader) And Dat A-chan Fangriling XDXD The part in the discipline committee room was nice. Loved seeing the Senpai's liking Tatsuya :D And Tatsuya's such can't live in a room in a mess XD Dat Miyuki scene! DAT BODY *A*, DAT MIYUKI BOOB PRESS *A*, And DAT BLUSH <3 Miyuki SO LEWD >.< And that OST made the already lewd scene even lewder XD, It fit the atmosphere feel so much XD Tatsuya's reaction was so lol "Mushi Mushi Miyuki-san" XD And u don't want to make Miyuki mad or jealous XD DAMN! YANDERENESS OVERLOAD hahaha. Definitely gonna be the topic of conversation this ep XD I didn't expect Tatsuya's self repair to be voiced by him. I expected a mechanic voice. DAT ERIKA SCENE!! ERIKA KAWAIIII <3 How she hurt herself after kicking his leg was adorable :3 And finally Mibu and Kirihara (DAT SUGITA) make their debut :D Loved the animation of their fight. Loved the way Tatsuya owned Kirihara so much!! LIKE A BOSS :D And Loved the OST! And the way he was owning the whole kendo club alone ^^ FAIL hahaha |

| Sooo... Episode 3 with its potentially controversial scene... was not as bad as I thought it would be, the scene, I mean. The episode felt so short, like where on earth did the time go? What I liked: The explanation for why Tatsuya won the duel was cool. I liked seeing the psion wave animated. Plus there was a lot less awe by the viewers, which I liked. There's no need for too many "Wows" and "Amazings." Suzune's voice felt like it finally matched the character. Azusa's ravings about the Silver Horn and Taurus Silver was understated, which I preferred. Hattori still didn't acknowledge Tatsuya's presence, only exchanging an intense stare with him; but he did apologize to Miyuki and vise versa so that counts for something... The scene with Miyuki and Tatsuya at home with the CAD calibration was definitely done better than in the manga where he was a lot more frazzled. I'm so happy the anime seems to be following the LN and not the manga. I didn't think Tatsuya's restoration would be done in his own voice, which I should have because otherwise, whose voice was I expecting to hear? :) I liked how it was done. There wasn't too much time spent on it in order to hit you over the head with but not too little so you wouldn't know it was important in some way. And I'll say it again to clarify it to myself: I hate Morisaki with a passion! I seriously can't stand his scenes. The only thing that makes them worthwhile to see is Tatsuya's obvious uninterest in talking with him. I'm not an Erika shipper so I don't especially like any scenes with her in it but I do love how Tatsuya was emotionless even when he glimpsed her a bit undressed. Whoa, Kirihara's voice wasn't at all what I imagined! It was so much better! His cockiness really did match his voice. Oh and Sayaka and Tsukasa were also introduced, marking the beginning of the latter part of the Enrollment Arc. Then, Tatsuya's awesome moves finally animated and I couldn't have asked for more. I especially liked the glimpse of cast jamming , so cool. What I didn't Like: Tatsuya's monologues still preempted. What on earth is going on? Why would they not take the chance to show his inner thoughts? Anyway, great episode. Volume 1 done in 3 episodes is a good pace. Waiting for episode 4 with bated breath :) I'm also hoping the haters who gave this the 3-episode rule will be dropping it before Episode 4, raising my level of enjoyment exponentially higher |

| Without the expositions and inner thoughts animated, the scenes seemed rather fast paced in a way lol, not that I'm complaining anyway. Regardless, they managed to cover all fundamental scenes for this particular chapter at least so it's all good, though it may still confuse some that never read the novels. |

| +Wincest!! lol ahh that scene was fun to watch I don't think that happened in the light novels though did it? I know it happened in the manga but I'm not too sure if it happened or not in the light novels. It was a good episode though the info dump was handled nicely imo but they should have explained more in depth about psions and CADs before this episode, it would have helped a lot of the anime only viewers understand more about the concept of applying magic. It was a pretty good episode overall but I feel like they should have ended it off in a different way instead. Reallly loving the osts too for mahouka who ever is in charge of the music, props to you my friend. |

I mean with them waving the incest flag so much, it's not the viewers fault if they think that is what this show is about. . The scene with Miyuki is arguably the most important part of this episode. It foreshadows stuff that will come into play soon. Hope that isn't spoilery at all... |
| Mixed feelings about this episode. I get the feeling Madhouse are gonna fuck up this adaptation sooner or later. The ending was pretty rushed. Why do they keep cutting out Tatsuya's badass monologues. Stop screwing up Tatsuya's character. Morisaki "Next time I won't be so careless." Tatsuya "Next time." Huh. "Its a nice thought, to believe in a next time. If it was a real battlefield, there wouldn't be a next time." Why the hell did they cut the fight like that? It never happen like that in the LN. |

| That guy know how to make ennemies :P But he also own everyone so easily... It's funny because from what he say, he suck at using magic, but he seem to have perfectionned a way to neutralize their magic and be very good at martial art, so he sure is supperior to them. Mmmm, that sweet incest fantasy Miyuki have. And her seiyu voice is so sexy... :3 ''Did you saw it..?'' ''Yes, sorry.'', woah, woah, woah, did we saw an honest response from a protagonist to that question? I'm so habituated to the obvious lie ''NO!'' that it surprised me :O I don't think that Tatsuya is overpowered. From what I see, everyone always end up using magic because it make it more easy, but when someone restrict your access to magic, it's normal that you become suddenly a punching bag. When you focus on only one fighting style, at the moment it get out of your confort line, you will totally suck. That mean that if at one point Tatsuya will not be able to cancel the magic of someone, he'll be in big trouble... |
