Is it me or is the episode count wrong? I watched the english version (im sorry but all the nasty crap in the japanese version ruined the series) and it was only -40- episodes...Are they basing off the japanese version or are they just wrong?

Anway, without giving too much of a lecture....let me just give you the quick breakdown.

Sailor Moon came to the US during a time when Anime was fresh and new, and definitely for a different age bracket. So during that time DIC decided to do some snippy snipps, and left alot out. Not only were episodes cut and put back together (Queen Beryls fight scene for example, that was actually 2eps that the consolidated to one ep) but they left out entire episodes (One episode in japan was never aired in the US, because Usagi goes to a bar and gets drunk. ha) So yeah, the episode count is going to be much different.

Now, Im wondering what about the japanese version ruined the series for you?

eh im not one of those people who enjoy seeing people panties and stuff ._.

Weird, in all 22 chapters I've seen no panties have been shown. Or not that I notice D:

I mean, there may be a few instances, but nothing too much.

The Americans had a tendency of adjusting anything that would insinuate 'sexual'. For example, their transformation scenes were airbrushed. They thought their boobs were too big as well as their ass, so they toned those down ^^;

I do have to say, I don't think there is a single panty shot that sticks out in my mind. What eps in Japanese did you see?
