| That is one of the events from the Rape of Nanking and it is called the "rape" of Nanking because the Japanese took over the city of Nanking and indiscriminately raped and killed any Chinese citizens in the city. The time could be spent on other pressing matters like the economy (Japan is in an almost perma-recession, the US is in a recession). |
