i love the romance and the store line
i like how they fell in love over time instead of the normal instant romance u see in many other common anime
i also like how it tells u everyones back store
and how they added heave drama and smoothly progressed it to a happier ending
unlike the manga
but what i love the most about the show and the movie was how eureka and renton
fought for there love for each other
in all i love the eureka seven series with all my heart
it will always be #1 in my anime list

The music of course.

A little romance that wasn't suffocating.

Characters that suffer and grow for a little more realism.

More focus on the characters than all the action.

The soundtrack, and the overall plotline. The plotline seemed new and fresh when I watched it, and there were many twists and turns involved which I loved. I completely fell in love with the soundtrack as well, finding myself humming bits and pieces of tracks every so often. I would look forward to a dubbed episode each Friday night, but ended up watching the rest online because I couldn't wait any longer. xD 50 episodes was a good run, and the ending had me satisfied for the most part.
Thus, this brought upon my love for anime, as well as the purchases of all 12 seperate DVDs plus the three OST CDs. =3

It focused on charater development and relationships which is something most animes don't do these days. It also had romance that didn't use the same old corny dialouge. In a way it was a unique thing.

Definitely the development.

This anime is fifty episodes long. And through it, you see the transition from Renton's childish self with big dreams to a man, living it, by his hard work and strong belief in love.

Not mentioning the qualities of the anime that really get deep, with one of the best love stories, there are elements throughout the anime that really deserve merit.

Holland is one of the most fleshed out characters in the anime, with very strong and clear beliefs. When Talho is arguing with him, explaining that Holland doesn't get it (Eureka with Renton), Holland says that he does understand.
But what Talho tells Holland really shows his inner through-procces that was so ingrained he couldn't even see it, himself: "It's not that Eureka chose Renton! It's that she didn't choose you!"
Imagination is far more exciting.

I think E7 is unique in many ways. They do a great job of character depth and each character is very likable. Even Anemone is likable in some ways and she's supposed to be the more 'dark opposition' to Eureka. I also love the subtle romance in the series. It is clear that Renton will end up with Eureka from the very beginning but they both grow so much during the series that it makes it more realistic and believable. Overall, this series is just plain amazing and the idea of riding the wind is awesome! :D

It's the most intense anime I've ever watched, the characters are great, the plot is good, the animation is almost perfect, I've never felt bored watching it.
The OST is one of the best ( the best imo ) of all animes.
