would be much more interesting than animes about card games, or robots or flying saucer or whatever.

MOBA games is just more action-oriented and skill-dependent than MMORPGs.

Probably won't happen, because Japan didn't produce any MOBA.

How would that even work? A moba game lasts like an hour (from what I know from League) and it's just destroy their base = win.

I mean, I could see an RPG happen as it's already been done (SAO, LH, .hack, etc.) but MOBA...not so much

football games also last an hour or more.

Less diverse though. RPGs are about exploring. MOBAs are about securing objectives and destroying the base

You must see the huge gap in potential as an anime for these two genres

A Moba anime would be interesting if you had it in a Log Horizon sort of environment. You know, where they are actually pulled into the game themselves?

At least for LoL that's kinda how it happens for the champions themselves. They run normal lives until they are "summoned" by their summoners to the rift. I could imagine they could have some spin on that where they get regular people or something along those lines.

It could work...but it would depend on the writing.

A League of Legends anime would be pretty interesting. There's more than enough lore for them to work with and the characters and setting are pretty much written for them

I don't think that would really work. It should be more like a sports anime.

every time someone dies, there would be like an indepth analysis about the path of the jungler and the level of the players, during teamfights the ult and positioning could be analyzed. There's also the builds, the pick and bans and the strategies (split pushing, pick comp, poking, turtling, stealth baron, etc.).
