| The main change was with her skin color if I remember correctly, in the novels though I hear she underwent more drastic changes. I remember watching a special feature on the DVD where one of the staff said that the animators didn't want to drastically change how Yoko looked in the anime, so they used dialogue to stress her transformation instead. |

| I miss Youko's original appearance. She looked all realistic. Basically, everything in Hourai looked much more realistic (or maybe that was just the first episode). Now, she looks like some kind of ganguro |
