| It's funny how Date A Live started by having bad-ass Valkyries for heroines and then proceeded to reduce them into stupid brain-dead penis munching zombies. Such is the life of the harem anime. |

| It's more like a recap episode, much of the scenes did not appear in the LN, especially Kurumi, who was set to appear only 2 or 3 volumes later. A decent start. Will look forward to it next week~! |

| I usually like tohka but I thought it was overly annoying in this episode. The 2nd part of the episode was great though, just the first half I could have done without. |

| Whew, that's some concentration in one episode ewe Well good episode imo, Tohka fun as usual (why people are hating on her why) Thank god they skipped all the "Hey mah name is Westcott how about saving you girl" because I found it unnecessary long in the novel. Please, Yoshino, when Tohka goes haywired, turn this damn TV off please. xD And it's me or Shido is our typical harem dumb guy that can't see his girls' feelings ? I mean yeah everytime Tohka gets on her nerves it's "Shido dislikes me" or "Shido prefers Origami" and I'm like "Hey Shido she loves you how about you act someday" Kurumi's voice is like a lullaby to me. And plus she makes clones by shooting herself. Because inversed logic y'know. When I read the novel, the description of the Yamai sisters suits made me "wtf is it really supposed to look like" and now I just see that they are just masochistic lolis. Well. *brb* And the bread scene. "How did you get these ?" "Oh, Ratatoskr y'know" And dat kiss scene. I thought it would only be like holding hands and stuff but a kiss suddenly, well it catched me by surprise xD |

| I personally love Tohka. I understand why she gets all worked up like that and acts silly, don't forget that Shidou was the first human to accept her as she was. Before him, she'd only been attacked and rejected so I can understand why the thought of losing Shidou hurts / upsets her so much. The kiss at the end was nice though, any kiss she shares with him would be special to her. All in all despite a few hiccups I thought it was a good episode, really looking forward to the next ep though. |

| Why did this shit get a 2nd season |
| Having somehow watched the whole first season, I decided to watch its second season and oh god... MY BAD! I totally forgot about the random crap that goes along with the show: Getting bread, getting the wrong idea, and then getting almost killed by a girl in your harem but then was saved by a kiss. To sum up the first episode: Bipolar girls (Tohka) almost killing their beloved because of monster periods. Now that I have typed this much which isn't much, I remembered why I decided to watch the second season. KURUMI. That is probably the only reason (excluding the bewbs) why I am watching this bipolar bread harem and probably is my excuse to continue watching this show. Nonetheless, every show has potential so I will have to watch the next episode. |

| 3/5 Irritating this first episode! OK, we know the plot, but you make less banal narration and not so poor design and animations. Luckily the next installment, we change the registry. I hope that this second season, put more contnuti addition to the peculiarities we already know. For now, my final grade is 6/10! |

| I'm not really a harsh critic and my standards are relatively low compared to others, but this episode was not enjoyable at all. Tohka's behavior was irritating and not cute at all like in the first season. Man, I hope the other episodes are much better than this one. I loved the first season and want to enjoy this one. |

| The animation quality definitely took a hit this season. (though I'm expecting it to get better) Putting that aside, I really enjoyed this first episode! Tohka was super unreasonable, but when is she not? Kurumi at the end was like the cherry on top. |

| Tbh the OVA was more entertaining than this... For me I found Tohka is getting more cuter and cuter (Dat voice!!!!! Marina-sama!!! xD) But her acts & imaginations just.. getting so ridiculous Oh, well... I'll looking forward for the new girls |

| It wasn't bad for a first episode and it serverd as a bridge between first and second season story (OVA was self-contained story). So I guess it's ok. Wonder what happens next, that trip and sisters introduction in pv seems interesting. |

| This is what soap operas can do to you if taken serious. Shido will need to change the channel so that Tohka doesn't go wild. Origami taking Shido to the restroom so that they can talk privately. The funny part was when Origami was taking down her panties. Awkward place to have a conversation. Kotori going imouto mode while wearing her black ribbons. She said "That's my big brother", when he stopped Tohka from causing another spatial quake and calming her down as he head to ear device. |

| If this was in the LN then I already forgotten about this lol. The art and animation though... Shidou look a little shorter than before ? They could have made the Kurumi appearance with more impact. Well at least Tohka and Yoshino was cute. |

| Someone label this episode as drama? Ahahaha... Don't make me laugh, that was an idiotic first episode. Tohka was acting like a little baby. But it's fine, her personality is like that and its cute. But why then did others, who have some common sense, didn't do anything about it beforehand? If some stranger was passing down the street and told Tohka that Shidou died she would go ape shit. If Tohka trusts so easily then why didn't the Ratatosk members talk to her about some basic life things before everything happens? I mean clearly she is short tempered and believes anything, they could have explained her that before doing/thinking anything she has to confirm with Shidou. That way they would minimize the danger as Tohka is clearly a walking bomb just waiting to start the timer. And Shido fails to give any kind of explanation when the situation calls for it. Thank God he doesn't have to use his brain and just kiss the girl otherwise city would have been blown apart. Good music, show is still crap. |
