| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- LOL, that was funny almost. The granny with the eyepatch is the best character so far. The OP song was meh but whatever. A lot of female characters so far are pretty badass. This almost felt like watching Nobuanga the Fool in a few ways. Need more Kiriko though. We got some badass grannies this season Oh and I noticed Keiichiro is voiced by same VA as Natsu from FT. No wonder they are hotheaded. |

| That was . . . um . . . interesting. Even Marvel's motion comics have more movement than that, though it was hilarious in a terribad kind of way. I especially liked watching a character "walking" like a stick puppet. The granny was amusing (that perky at that age?), and I think there was more animation in the OP than the entire rest of the episode. They must have blown the entire budget on the seiyuus and OP :P Somehow, I think this might be fun - in a Plan 9 from Outer Space vein. |
| That was, uhm, just not my cup of tea. So little animation and quite dragging. Reminds me of a picture anime - there lips are only moving, camera panning from left - right, up-down, zooming in-out, shaky frames. Very seldom do I see a full movement. Had to fast forward it coz of how slow paced it was and how uninterested I've become coz of the disappointment. Dropped |

| I . . . I don't understand. It's got the director of Shana and Slayers, the scriptwriter of Eureka 7 and Ergo Proxy, a wonderful voice cast and animation production by J.C. Staff. While that doesn't necessarily mean that this should be anything special, for this to have turned out the way it did, I really can't comprehend. Why is there so little animation? Why is the animation on display so horrible? Why is the budget so extremely small? There's really no reason for this to look even nearly as bad as it does. I thought Daimidaler was awful looking, but this, this is the worst-looking tv anime I think I've ever seen. The entire episode was like those bonus shorts that come with the home releases of ecchi shows. I've seen people under anesthesia who were more animated than this show. Ugh. What a waste. |

| This is the first time I've ever skipped/fast-forwarded a show's first episode, hoping that maybe it was just a horribly animated dream sequence or a troll opening minute. It wasn't. I don't think I'll stick to my 3-episode rule on this one. |

| LOL WHAT character design is fine, story setting funny buuuut... that's it animation was almost inferno cop level, the only 2 animated scenes were kiriko (the ninja) undressing in the bathhouse and that killer chick groping her breasts. out of 30 minutes like 5 seconds were actually animated. even the perverted jokes were blunt and boring it is really bad like really REALLY bad. gonna stick around for now because it is so bad but man... that was something |

| I mean I expected shit but this was definitely worse than what I thought. This is even worse of what Studio Deen does. Were those animations? I think the episode was 90% stills, and 10% animations. The voice actors and the character design are plenty of good though, I can't understand why they're doing this. |
