Loved this episode, and i had a laughing fit when clare asked if raki wanted her to demonstrate how she can immitate a prostitute :L. I liked the new weapon choice though the claymore is so much more beasty.

'"Hearts, you say? You Humans are always so quick to speak of such things. As though you carry your hearts in the very palms of your hands. But this eye of mine perceives all. There is nothing that it overlooks. If this eye cannot see a thing, then it does not exist. That is the assumption under which I have always fought. What is this "heart"? If I tear open that chest of yours, will I see it there? If I smash open that skull of yours, will I see it there?4th Espada
Clare looks really lovely with her normal eyes. There's a certain charm to her stoicism, she may be expressionless but she's not emotionless. As for the yoma, I think that it's hiding in the crypts. It's the perfect hiding spot for someone who doesn't want to leave the cathedral and no one would suspect a corpse.
It does seem a little out of character that Clare would protect those knights considering how calculated she's been up until now. My guess is Raki is influencing her and slowly thawing her human heart.
I wasn't sure about this show after the first two episodes, so I took a break, played some Street Fighter 5 and returned for the third one and I gotta say... that one hooked me. Although the first two made a solid base for the story, they did not really engage me too much.
And much of it was kinda Raki's perspective on the subject at hand.
NOW we get to see more of Clare, the conflict on the roof with the knights, and all that roof jumping, the stealthy spy mission, the church going against their convictions to save their butts... there was a lot to love.
A great balance of story and action, although I get the feeling that behind the beautiful art, the animation is rather cheap with lots of camera movement through static landscapes and suggested movement rather than fully animated movement.
After two episodes I thought I would drop it soon, giving it a rating of Average (5), but now I rate it overall a Good (7) and I hope that digit will rise some more after tonights batch of episodes.
